RACE TWO

CINDAROCKINRELLA (2) could not hold them out early from gate 1 over the AP mile last start and was left in the trail. With a mid-race move shaking the field, she then struck trouble to have her chances destroyed. Only a neck away here at her 1st Qld appearance the start prior, this looks the ideal bounce back.

PATCHWORK JET (6) was a winner from gate 1 here 3 starts back when securing the trail and then finishing best to claim the prize over the 1780m. Fading out after being asked to work hard last start when sent to sit parked he faces a tough gate but can be making a closing challenge.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (9) was eased from gate 5 last start to find the pegs over the AP mile and did not have the smoothest passage home. With the right tempo he can be making a closing play.

CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1) was sent to the post as fav last time out and after securing the 1x1 trail could not go on with it. Using inside runs here 2 starts back to grab 3rd, the peg position will help.

SELECTIONS: CINDAROCKINRELLA (2), PATCHWORK JET (6), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (9), CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CINDAROCKINRELLA (2) to win

RACE THREE

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (2)
sat in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start but could not muster the closing power to reel in the leader and winner. Fading the start prior after finding the front from gate 4 over the AP mile, she can get to the pegs here and gets every chance to cash-in.

AURORA ROSE (8) settled in the 1x1 trail at Marburg last start and with a slippery 3rd split thrown down by the leader was able to produce at the right time to arrive for victory by a half-head. Runner-up here 2 starts back from this same gate, she can press through early to challenge late.

WEASEL (3) eased from gate 5 last start to find the pegs in a sound effort under unsuitable conditions. From this gate he can continue to roll forward and can look to chime into the action.

ILLBEWATCHING (5) has been hitting some nice areas in recent outings with a top-3 in 7 of his past 9. Grabbing 3rd to FLEETING FEELGOOD last start, he has early hustle to find position to make a play.

SELECTIONS: MIDNIGHT QUEEN (2), AURORA ROSE (8), WEASEL (3), ILLBEWATCHING (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MIDNIGHT QUEEN (2) to win

RACE FOUR

Taking on the older horses here IMA CHICK MAGNET (1) comes up with the gate to take full advantage. Luckless last start in the Triad Consolation when probing for gaps that never opened, it followed a midfield return in the Redcliffe Sales Final. From the gate he has the options to capitalise.

CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (3) was required to work in the run last start and wilted after the trip to be at the tail. Beaten by gate 6 the start prior when retreating and then hooping for some luck it had followed a luckless trip when the gaps did not open. Settling close to the action he can throw it down.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (7) was a winner from this gate 3 starts back when securing the ideal trip behind the speed and then taking the closing shot up the passing lane. With a similar trip she can feature.

FAIREACHDAINN (2) did not have much go her way last start when trying to advance in the field but repelled for a position. Placed in both previous starts, she can be close enough to make a play here.

SELECTIONS: IMA CHICK MAGNET (1), CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT (3), THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (7), FAIREACHDAINN (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

ALTANA BLUE (4) started from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back and with the cosy trip found space at the ideal moment to charge home and claim victory by a head. That ended a long winless streak and was followed with a tidy effort from gate 7 after snagging back early. Firing an early shot, he gets a chance in this.

MAJOR LUCKY (3) features in a barn switch to join the Murray Thomas team. Working home in nice order to grab the silver at Albion Park 4 runs back when 4m from the winner, he followed it with close margins at his next 2 attempts. Settling handy to the action from this gate can see him challenge.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (2) was not suited from the 2nd line last start at Marburg and was too far back with the race dictated in front. Gate 5 was his undoing here 2 starts back and with the improved gate he can feature.

LIFEINHEAVEN (6) started from the ace here last start and after holding sway early released the speed in the middle stages and was then best of the rest behind the 12m winner PEPPA BLISS. The gate is a stinger, but she can swoop.

SELECTIONS: ALTANA BLUE (4), MAJOR LUCKY (3), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (2), LIFEINHEAVEN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ALTANA BLUE (4) to win

RACE SIX

LETS HUSTLE (4)
was sent to the post as the favourite at his first Qld outing 2 starts back from gate 9 when finishing 7m from the 100-1 winner ARCHILLES. Pulling the trigger early from gate 6 when second-up to take control, he fought on to hold 2nd behind HAPPY PUBLICANS. He can take a good shot in this.

JAZIAH (2) will take further benefit from her latest outing when second-up from a spell. Eased from gate 5 to secure position, she was trying to make a closing play when 8m in arrears of the winner. Taking her first look at The Triangle, she can be right in the fight from this gate.

MISS VICTORIA (7) did some early work to settle near the front last start and was not too far away in the latter stages. Game in defeat here 3 starts back when sitting parked, she will be probing for gaps.

FLO RYDA (6) angled to the pegs from the 2nd line last start to look for some luck when finishing midfield to CHARMING CHARLOTTE. The wide gate does him no favours, but he can be chiming in against this opposition.

SELECTIONS: LETS HUSTLE (4), JAZIAH (2), MISS VICTORIA (7), FLO RYDA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS HUSTLE (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

THE CASUAL GOOSE (1)
pressed forward from gate 4 to take control last time out and from the front was trying to fight them off over the AP mile when just unable to see it out. A passing lane runner-up here 2 starts back after taking the trail, he has all the options to take advantage of this.

GET READY TO ROCK (6) has been hitting some nice areas in recent outings with a top-3 at her past 8 on the bounce. Working hard in the run when sent forward to sit parked last start from gate 5, she was grafting away to be 3m from the winner JEWEL OF PEAK. The gate stings again, but she can challenge.

THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (4) has been beaten by the 2nd line at his past 2 starts, finishing unplaced in both after finishing in the top-2 his previous 10 starts since arriving in Qld. Back to the front line will aid his cause.

FOUR FOR FOUR (2) has been runner-up at her past 2 starts, the latest when hemmed away from gate 1 and chasing behind the smart 3YO HEMSWORTH. From this gate she is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: THE CASUAL GOOSE (1), GET READY TO ROCK (6), THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (4), FOUR FOR FOUR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: THE CASUAL GOOSE (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

RUNFORTHEROSES (1)
has only ventured up the Houghton Highway five times for a return of a pair of 3rds. Holding them wide from the ace over the AP mile last start, she set the tempo through the opening 3 panels before wilting late. From the gate she can dictate and look to take them all the way.

HAMMERTIME HARLEY (5) was having her first outing in the Sunshine State at The Creek last time out when attacking the line in smart order. Starting from the second line in that contest and only finishing 2m in arrears of the winner, she can be looking to make a closing play in this.

HES SWEET (3) started from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back and using the passing lane grabbed the silver behind BRIAN CHRISTOPHER. Down the line last start, he can settle hand to feature in this.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7) was angled to the poles here 2 starts back and from deep along the inside found the power to sweep over the top of them. With the cosy trip again, he can make a play.

SELECTIONS: RUNFORTHEROSES (1), HAMMERTIME HARLEY (5), HES SWEET (3), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-5-7

RACE NINE

MAJOR LESTER (8) has had one previous visit to Redcliffe that returned a 2nd. Firing out and looking to take them all the way last start over the AP mile, he compounded in the latter stages. He would have been closer with better luck the start prior behind LAMANDIER and pressing through early can look to arrive in this line up.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (2) has landed three victories here at the Peninsula, with each victory coming when leading throughout. Making good ground in the closing stages last start after easing from gate 5, it followed an all the way win from gate 3. He can hustle out of the Hilux to throw down the challenge.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (1) did not have much luck last start at Marburg when easing to the poles to secure position over the 2200m. Mixing his form somewhat, he has the gate to look for a turnaround.

ASHLEE NITRO (5) eased from gate 3 to find the running line last start and was making some nice closing metres behind WESTAR SAM. Powering over the top of them here 2 starts back, look for her swooping.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR LESTER (8), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (2), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (1), ASHLEE NITRO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR LESTER (8) to win
