RACE TWO

SCOTCH EN ICE (8) was returning from a spell without a public trial last time out when sent forward in the early stages before the moves came and he was soon back in the pack as IL MAXIMUS scooted clear to score. Fitter for the run, he can trial through to settle handy enough to capitalise.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (5) has hit the board at his past 4 in succession, the latest when starting a red figure fav from gate 2. With no early speed, he was soon shuffled back in the running line before finishing off in nice order when 5m in arrears of the winner. Taking them all the way here 2 starts back, he can challenge here.

ALBION ARK (3) found his race last week when spearing out from gate 2, taking control and cruising home to an effortless victory. That was at 1780m and with the speed to lead, he gets a chance to improve his middle-distance figures which are not that appealing.

DEVOUGED (4) started from the 2nd line over this trip 2 starts back when owning the best close out speed to arrive for a narrow victory. Gate 5 was his undoing last start, and he is a podium player in this.

SELECTIONS: SCOTCH EN ICE (8), CHANCELESS CENTURY (5), ALBION ARK (3), DEVOUGED (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SCOTCH EN ICE (8) to win

RACE THREE

Fitter following one run back from a spell, DOCTA FEELGOOD (6) has no favours from the wide gate but can go forward early. Back in the pack from a 2nd line gate when returning last start, conditions look right for him to get into the contest in the early stages here to stake his claim.

MACH TORQUE (8) was sent to the front from gate 3 last start and looked to take them all the way only to be collared in the closing strides when a half-head short of the prize. Finishing with the bronze at each of her 2 previous starts, she can trial through to challenge here.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (3) eased from gate 4 to find position last start and soon settled rearward when trying to make a closing play behind LIFEINHEAVEN. Settling closer can see him chime in here.

LIFEINHEAVEN (2) eased into the pocket trail from gate 4 here 2 starts back when finishing within 3m of the winner. Powering home over the top last start, she can fire the early shots here.

SELECTIONS: DOCTA FEELGOOD (6), MACH TORQUE (8), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (3), LIFEINHEAVEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOCTA FEELGOOD (6) to win

RACE FOUR

CHASING THE WIND (4)
sat in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last time out and with the cosy trip had the bullets up the passing lane to hit the target. Closing out in nice order the start prior behind WESTAR SAM, he will need to take another step up here but can look to progress.

INVINCIBLE LOXTON (5) has not done much racing here at Redcliffe with just 4 starts returning 3 minors on this surface. Just 2m from EL AGUILA last time, the start prior he was doing it the tough way when sitting parked and finishing just 4m away. The gate stings but he can make a challenge.

LIFES BLACK (6) is in nice touch at present with 2 wins and 2 placings in is past 4 starts. Pressing on early from gate 5 last time, he was grabbed late, and has no favours again from the tough gate.

VENUS JUJON (1) tried to take them all the way from this gate last time over the sprint trip but could not see it out when finishing in 3rd. With the options from this gate, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CHASING THE WIND (4), INVINCIBLE LOXTON (5), LIFES BLACK (6), VENUS JUJON (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Runner-up at her past 2 starts on this track the latest when starting as a red figure fav from this sane gate, GET READY TO ROCK (5) might have found conditions to go one better here. Pressing on to find the front last start, she was only grabbed in the closing strides when a half-head shy of victory.

BONNIES A ROCKIN (1) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and was soon buried in the run before finding some space to grab the bronze behind ALBION ARK. Her past 3 starts have been from the 2nd line and with the improved alley she lands her chance to challenge.

METAKI MAJIC (2) has now traversed The Triangle on two occasions and been down the line in each. Easing from gate 4 last start, she was unable to reel them in and with this alley has podium hopes.

FOUR FOR FOUR (9) has a tidy record here at The Triangle with her last win coming when scoring a gritty win here over the 1780m. Runner-up to LE TISSIER 2 starts back at headquarters, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GET READY TO ROCK (5), BONNIES A ROCKIN (1), METAKI MAJIC (2), FOUR FOR FOUR (9)
SUGGESTED BET: GET READY TO ROCK (5) to win

RACE SIX

THE RAGNBONE MAN (1)
started from gate 2 here 2 starts back and fired to the front looking to take them all the way. Gunned down in the closing strides by TORQUE IN CONTROL, he was working home from the 2nd line last start to grab the bronze at The Creek. He gets every chance here.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (6) started from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back and easing off the pegs early sat back in the pack before making a sweeping challenge to grad THE RAGNBONE MAN in the closing stages. 3rd in a stronger race last start, she can be throwing it down in this.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (7) has been hitting some nice areas with a top-3 in 8 of his past 9 outings. Wide off the track last start, he should be enjoying the easy trip behind the speed here to offer late.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (2) has worked his way back into some form, claiming a win here 3 back and following that with a half-head margin at his next attempt. From the gate he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: THE RAGNBONE MAN (1), TORQUE IN CONTROL (6), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (7), ABERCROMBIE TAB (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7

RACE SEVEN

WEDDING NIGHT (4)
fired out of the machine last start to take control and once in front held on to claim a half-head margin. The maiden breakthrough came after 61 starts and now with some winning confidence, finds the race to show early hustle and look to go back-to-back.

HARRY CROFT (8) looked to make a move 3-wide in the early stages last time before retreating to the rear, following inside runs, easing wide and sweeping home for a neat win. Doing it the tough way here 3 starts back, he can look to throw down another challenge here.

SCHOOBY (2) held the pocket trail last start from gate 1 over the AP mile and chased hard when runner-up to TRENTLEIGH. With options early, he has podium claims again here.

JAMAICAN RESORT (9) started from the 2nd line last start when looking to join in wide out over the closing stages. From the gate it might be a similar scenario as he looks for a minor.

SELECTIONS: WEDDING NIGHT (4), HARRY CROFT (8), SCHOOBY (2), JAMAICAN RESORT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: WEDDING NIGHT (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

SHES ALL STAR (8)
made the most of gate 1 here last week when taking control early and was never headed thereafter when claiming her first win in Qld. Fading late as the fav the start prior at her first start for the Jack Butler team, she finds another race that is wide open where she gets a chance.

SEELSTERS SONG (6) pressed forward from the 2nd line last time out before receiving cover but could not go on with it as SHES ALL STAR landed the win. 7m from DATSINAHURRI the start prior after starting from a wide gate, she has the tough alley again but can look for a sharper effort.

TULHURST LOVER (5) was a winner in a similar grade here 3 starts back and followed the with a 4th from the 2nd line. Runner up from the trail last time, the gate makes it tricky here.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (3) fired out to take control from gate 3 last time and was trying to fight them off when 8m in arrears. Runner-up is previous 2, he can feature again here.

SELECTIONS: SHES ALL STAR (8), SEELSTERS SONG (6), TULHURST LOVER (5), WILD ABOUT TOWN (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SHES ALL STAR (8) to win

RACE NINE

A tricky maiden to close the night where VALKYRIE HANOVER (2) might just have found her race for the moment of glory. 68 starts against her name thus far in search of that elusive first win, she has now placed her past 4 in succession including on a one-day back-up last week. Tonight?

RHYMES WITH ROCK (6) makes his return to start his 3YO season following a lone start at 2 when midfield from gate 7 over the AP mile. A few of his opponents out of that contest have progressed and with a trial in readiness for the return he is in the mix.

LIL MISS BREEZY (7) made a costly error last start that ended her chances when at the tail of the pack. With the economical trip, she will be probing for openings to join in.

SELECTIONS: VALKYRIE HANOVER (2), RHYMES WITH ROCK (6), MOONLITE DIVA (5), LIL MISS BREEZY (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
