RACE ONE

ROCKNHOLME (2) has landed all of his three career wins on this deck and finds the right conditions to look for a fourth. His only run here in recent attempts was two starts back when closing out smartly from back in the pack to grab 2nd behind ARTISTIC SAINT. AN improved gate is an added plus.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (5) faces a tough ask from wide off the front line and is on the back-up from Friday at The Creek. A winner on this deck four starts back when darting across to take control from gate 4 and pull clear to take a 10m margin, positioning cheaply will be key to his challenging chances.

TRACER BULLET (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out after initially being left exposed. Finding CHEETAH LODGE too slick in finishing near the rear, the gate and this grade of opponent helps.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (3) resumes from a spell after a last start 2nd where he was finding the line in nice order to be just 2m from the winner. He will take further benefit from this outing.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNHOLME (2), IMA BIRUBI BOY (5), TRACER BULLET (1), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

CALVERT HOT SHOT (1) was beaten by gate 7 over the AP mile two starts back when eased early before making some nice metres in the latter stages to be 7m in arrears of the winner. Grabbing the bronze last start, he comes up with the chance to dart through and dictate.

SWEET JASMINE (4) has been drawn on the fence at her past three, the latest from inside the second line when shuffled to three back and facing a task with a slick last half set from the front. With the ability to do some work if required, she can land forward to challenge.

MYSTICAL JAZZ (6) faces the outside paint owing to her own manners and the enforced embargo. Snagged back last start and then unable to get warm, the chance to get forward might be on offer.

ARTISTIC SAINT (8) is on the back-up from Friday at headquarters where he looked to have podium claims. A winner from this gate two starts back when pulling clear to score, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: CALVERT HOT SHOT (1), SWEET JASMINE (4), MYSTICAL JAZZ (6), ARTISTIC SAINT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CALVERT HOT SHOT (1) to win

RACE THREE

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (3)
has two wins in his past four starts and comes into this contest off the back of a midfield finish where he was making some nice metres late over the AP mile to be just 5m from the winner. Taking them all the way on the Kilcoy kikuyu two back, he finds a winnable contest.

BETTING BARON (5) rolled across early before receiving cover at this trip two starts back and then when produced was able to loom up and grab a narrow victory. Obliged to do it the tough way last start over the AP mile when parked, he has challenging claims despite the tough gate.

MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (6) has no favours from the outside paint but was able to finish off nicely from this same alley last start behind JUST ONE GOOD ONE. He has podium claims in this line up.

WHATELEY (9) does not have the greatest numbers against his name and has been far from his best in recent starts. Despite that, this profiles as the chance to show some improvement.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (3), BETTING BARON (5), MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (6), WHATELEY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (3) to win

RACE FOUR

LONDON LADY (7)
will be out to remain undefeated since arriving in the Sunshine State after going 2 for 2 here at The Triangle. Pressing to the front as a prohibitive favourite last start, she was never in danger in claiming a 13m margin. The set up looks right for the threepeat.

ELPINE SALLY (1) pressed ahead from gate 5 on the big deck at headquarters two starts back and taking control was able to hang on after leading all the way with a neck to spare. 5m away last start after copping the outside second line gate, she will be trying to stave them off.

THE MACH ARMY (2) secured his first Qld victory when taking them all the way at Marburg last start after burrowing through from gate 1 to dictate. Runner-up here three back, he is in the mix again.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9) found the 1x1 trail from gate 8 last start and was able to make a late play for 3rd as ILLAWONG DREAMTIME landed the prize. Wide gates hurt at his previous three, but he has place claims here.

SELECTIONS: LONDON LADY (7), ELPINE SALLY (1), THE MACH ARMY (2), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LONDON LADY (7) to win

RACE FIVE

ALLY PINK (3)
had to sit parked at Marburg last start after not having the speed to get across to the poles. Toughing it out to hold on for the bronze when 3m in arrears of the winner, she looks to get her chance to get across them here and from the front can look to take them all the way.

JILLIBY GIZMO (8) was sent to the post as the fav last start from inside the second line and was soon away from the poles into the running line. Trying to make a closing raid to get within 5m of the winner and grab 3rd, the front line looks relatively limited, and he can make a play for the prize.

OFFICE BAD BOY (9) could not go with them over the closing stages last start over the AP mile which followed a sound effort from against the poles. This is much easier, and he has podium claims.

CROSSED LEGS (6) has the tough alley to negotiate but finds the right type of opposition to be making some late metres to chime in.

SELECTIONS: ALLY PINK (3), JILLIBY GIZMO (8), OFFICE BAD BOY (9), CROSSED LEGS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ALLY PINK (3) to win

RACE SIX

KANYE CRUSADER (7)
comes up with the second line options here as the lone runner out the back. Sectionally consistent in recent attempts, he grabbed 3rd last start behind HESTON ZOOLANDER which followed a nice effort for little reward in Saturday night company. A solid tempo looks on offer to give him the closing shot.

ALTANA BLUE (4) will have his 5th start in 14 days after backing up from Friday at The Creek where he looked to a chance of landing a cheque. Holding on for the silver at Marburg two back in a sizzling last half set in front, he claimed successive wins prior on this deck and will throw it down again.

ZARAS A TREASURE (2) was set a large task here two starts back and wilted over the closing stages under the tough trip. Releasing last start at the 2040, a return to the sprint helps her chances.

CAMROLLER (1) should secure a nice economical trip against the markers here and be searching for the gaps to chase some minor money after placing in two of his past four.

SELECTIONS: KANYE CRUSADER (7), ALTANA BLUE (4), ZARAS A TREASURE (2), CAMROLLER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: KANYE CRUSADER (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2)
was beaten by a wider gate when retreating last start and form back in the pack was unable to get going and faded out. Runner-up in successive starts prior to that effort, she can find the poles and with options thereafter look to capitalise.

JANG PEL (5) fired out from gate 1 to look for an all the way victory last start but was unable to see it out when wilting late to hold 3rd as PURPLE SHADES arrived. The wide gate makes the task tough here but with the right cart into the battle can look to make the challenge.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (3) was exposed in the early stages last start before receiving cover at Marburg and trying to make a closing raid was within a half-neck of victory. He has podium claims again here.

FLY CHEVAL (8) has copped some tough gates in recent starts, the latest from gate 9 when trying to make metres wide off the track. A suitable trip can see her in the money.

SELECTIONS: NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2), JANG PEL (5), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (3), FLY CHEVAL (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

EASTBRO TEX (3)
is a newcomer to Qld, joining the Gary Gerard stable and comes from the same Riverina stable that Gerard has sourced LONDON LADY from. Unable to see it out at Wagga last start, he finds a very winnable race first up in the Sunshine State.

FEEL THE THRILL (8) grabbed the bronze last start when working home wide off the track as CARIBBEAN BLASTER landed the prize. Finishing in that same position two starts back when 6m in arrears of the winner, he finds the race to make a challenge.

THE CROM (2) has a low win strike-rate, but he finds the right type of race here where he can be a podium player. Tucking in behind the speed, look for him trying to make closing metres.

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (5) has copped some rough draws in recent times and get back onto the mobile arm for the first time in six outings. That can be the catalyst for a sharper return.

SELECTIONS: EASTBRO TEX (3), FEEL THE THRILL (8), THE CROM (2), RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: EASTBRO TEX (3) to win
