RACE TWO

GET READY TO ROCK (5) rolled forward to sit parked last start over the 2040m and was game in defeat when within 4m of the leader and winner PARATROUPER. That form can be gauged from race 1 here and with the ability to grind it out, she can look to capitalise.

BRILLIANT ART (2) lines up for the hat-trick after successive wins at the 1780m trip here with both wins when forced to grind it out when sitting parked. Fighting them off here last time in a stout effort, she will now be prepared by regular driver David McKenzie and can get him off to a flyer.

SWEET LOMBO (7) was wide off the track when trying to launch a raid last start and although officially last, was only 6m from the winner. Runner-up his previous 2 starts, he can feature.

LETS BLAZE (8) was no match for COBBITY CASTLE last start, but neither were any in that battle with the winner claiming a 27m margin. Finishing best to score here 4 starts back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: GET READY TO ROCK (5), BRILLIANT ART (2), SWEET LOMBO (7), LETS BLAZE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GET READY TO ROCK (5) to win

RACE THREE

JILLIBY JACKPOT (1)
started from the 2nd line last start and eased out of the running line to move up to challenge for the breeze when it was not available. Finding space to drop back into the 1x1 trail, he just could not go on with it over the closing stages. Runner-up to the in-form FLO RYDA 2 starts back, the gate gives him the options to cash-in.

WESTAR SAM (7) has faced a strong of wide gates in recent outings and his efforts have been solid without threatening to score. Wide off the track last start over the AP mile from gate 10, his last start here at The Triangle was when charging late for 2nd to GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE. He can be probing for openings.

CHASING THE WIND (8) is yet to land a win since arriving in Qld but should find this an easier assignment than what he has been meeting. Freshened since his last appearance, he can feature.

MISSINMEMATE (2) was asked to hang tough in the breeze last start over the sprint trip and after the tough run faded in the closing stages. Runner-up over the AP 2138m 2 starts back, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY JACKPOT (1), WESTAR SAM (7), CHASING THE WIND (8), MISSINMEMATE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE FOUR

CHANCELESS CENTURY (1)
eased early from gate 5 before being sent around to sit parked last time out over the 2040 trip. In for the fight when holding on for the silver behind WHATTA GOOD REASON, it followed a solid 3rd over the AP mile. He lands all the favours to take his chances here.

ALWAYS BOPPING (3) eased from gate 6 over this trip last start and after settling near the rear was trying to make a late raid but could not eat into the deficit. Midfield the start prior after settling near the rear, he can be closer to the action from this gate to turn it around and break the win drought.

TOP FLIGHT CRUIZE (6) will be further tightened from his latest offering when 2nd up after 15 months off the scene. Taken to the pegs, it was a tidy effort and despite the gate he can improve again.

LARA BAY (8) was first up for the Sallis stable last start when eased from gate 7 to settle at the rear and then didn’t really warm up. Fitter for the outing and back to The Triangle can see her in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CHANCELESS CENTURY (1), ALWAYS BOPPING (3), TOP FLIGHT CRUIZE (6), LARA BAY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CHANCELESS CENTURY (1) to win

RACE FIVE

PIPPA MAGUIRE (3) has good speed out of the machine and 4 starts back fired out early before being nabbed up the passing lane. Finishing best from the 1x1 trail at her next start, she was best of the chasers behind the tear away winner COBBITY CASTLE last time. From the gate she gets her chance in this line up.

MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was always facing a task with the talented 2YO LEAP TO FAME taking control. Placed his previous 4 in succession, his run 2 starts back was a smart effort when only beaten a half-head. The gate is a big plus to his challenging chances.

WOODLANDS ROSE (8) is in search of a hat-trick after wins over the AP 2138m and then here over the 1780m. Finishing over the top of them from gate 9 last start, she is in the mix.

CASH QUEEN (6) eased from this gate last start to settle at the rear before making a closing play when wide off the track and grabbing 3rd behind WOODLANDS ROSE. She can be chiming in again here.

SELECTIONS: PIPPA MAGUIRE (3), MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (1), WOODLANDS ROSE (8), CASH QUEEN (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

ABBEY DIADEMA (1)
should relish the improved barrier here after a string of tough gates. Gate 9 was made no easier for her last start when striking trouble and the start prior the AP 2138m did not suit. With the options from this alley, she gets every chance to capitalise.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (3) has been in consistent touch, hitting the board his past 7 in succession. Settling in the running line from gate 8 here last start, he was making some closing metres to grab the bronze when 4m in arrears of the winner. Settling handy can see him throw it down.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (4) turned it around last start to bounce back to winning form after making full use of finding the front. Building off the turnaround, he can feature again here.

BARBOO (9) was sent forward last start to sit parked and after a tough trip as the race favourite could not finish it off. The gate stings again but saved for a last shot he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ABBEY DIADEMA (1), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (3), ABERCROMBIE TAB (4), BARBOO (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ABBEY DIADEMA (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

TORQUE IN CONTROL (7)
will need a slice of luck to find open road, but if the luck should come her way, this is a winnable contest. A winner here when swooping home in the closing stages 4 starts back, she started fav from this alley last start when buried in the run and making a late play for the bronze.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (2) is a two-time winner from his six starts here at The Triangle and has won his only opportunity when drawn to lead here. The 2nd line was his undoing last start over the AP mile and with the speed to fire the early shots, he can make a challenge in front.

HESLUVABLE (8) claimed victory at Marburg 2 starts back when finishing best from the 1x1 trail. Not receiving the smoothest passage last start, he can be chiming in.

SIGNOR JUJON (6) did his share of work last start when sent forward from gate 4 and was trying to mount a closing challenge when holding 3rd. The gate stings again here but he can make a play.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE IN CONTROL (7), THE RAGNBONE MAN (2), HESLUVABLE (8), SIGNOR JUJON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TORQUE IN CONTROL (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

WRITE TIME (4)
was making his first appearance in Qld last time out when showing the early hustle to find the pegs before releasing for the trail. Making the closing shot a winner via the passing lane, it was the perfect start to his arrival in the Bianca Hooper stable. Fitter for the outing, this is within reach.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6) was only 6m from the winner last time out over the 2040m trip after settling in the 1x1 trail. Down the line the start prior when not suited at the AP 2138m, it had followed 3 successive placings. The gate stings but he can look to make a play.

TURN TURN FLYER (7) has not been too far away in recent starts, including a 6m margin here 2 starts back when starting as the race favourite. He will be probing for gaps to chime in.

JAMAICAN RESORT (8) was asked to do it the tough way last start and faded late after the tough trip. In the backwash of trouble 2 runs back, he is a podium chance in this open contest.

SELECTIONS: WRITE TIME (4), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6), TURN TURN FLYER (7), JAMAICAN RESORT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WRITE TIME (4) to win

RACE NINE

TULHURST LOVER (8)
has worked her way into some nice touch with 3 wins in her past 5 starts. Easing from gate 5 to find position here last start, she was strong to the line when powering over the top and posting a 5m victory. This is no tougher and now in the David McKenzie stable can repeat.

GHOST GUM (5) was sent forward from this gate last start and after working hard in the run wilted under the toil to trail them in. Closing out in nice order the start prior when midfield after easing from gate 6, he can be in the mix here.

BERTILS FIREFOX (4) showed enough hustle to take control from this same gate last time out and was trying to fight them off when holding the silver behind WRITE TIME. He will be thereabouts.

HARRY CROFT (9) was a winner here 4 starts back when grinding out a tough victory when parked. Placed at his past 2 starts when wide off the front line, he can join in here.

SELECTIONS: TULHURST LOVER (8), GHOST GUM (5), BERTILS FIREFOX (4), HARRY CROFT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TULHURST LOVER (8) to win

RACE TEN

ELEVATE (6)
will take good experience from her race debut here last time out when locked away from inside the 2nd line. Making some nice metres over the closing stages behind the handy winner MAGICAL MAYA, she finds an open maiden and despite the gate can look to open the account.

LIL MISS BREEZY (4) is moving closer to an elusive victory and last start returned a tidy effort when midfield over the AP mile behind JELIGINITE JACK. Buried in the run from inside the 2nd line 2 starts back, she closed in good order for the bronze here 3 back and can throw it down.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (7) will need a slice of luck at some stage from this alley but if able to find open road in time can be in the mix. Working home nicely when only a half-neck away, she will be probing.

TORI BE (2) has now had more trainers than she has had starts, lining up for her 5th barn here. Yet to hit the board, she stays under notice coming into this 1st up without a public trial.

SELECTIONS: ELEVATE (6), LIL MISS BREEZY (4), IM A CLASSY GIRL (7), TORI BE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ELEVATE (6) to win
