RACE TWO

MISTY CREEK (3) was unable to get across from this alley 2 starts back and angled to the pegs after getting keen in the run was then a tragedy beaten as a white-hot favourite. His sectionals were strong despite trailing the field in a strong 2YO contest and he gets the chance to bounce back.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (5) found suitable conditions last start when finding the 1x1 trail he owned the best closing power to claim victory. Not too far away in 3rd the start prior, the gate is a little on the awkward side, but he can be looking to make the challenge.

HESLUVABLE (7) was a Marburg winner 3 starts back and has faced gate 8 in both starts since that victory. Needing a slice of luck to find the gaps, he will be probing.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (8) did not have much go his way last time out when hemmed away against the poles. Gunned down by the in-form COBBITY CASTLE the start prior, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (3), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (5), HESLUVABLE (7), FORTYFIVE ROCK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi exotics 3 / 5-7-8

RACE THREE

SPECIAL MEANING (8)
sat back in the pack from this same gate at his last appearance before trying to make some closing metres in grabbing the bronze behind SHE OWNS THE DAY. Finding them too slippery 2 starts back, he can get the right early trail to open his Redcliffe account.

GIDUP CAPTAIN (5) had an issue last start that ended his race. Down the line his previous 2 starts off the back of a long spell. Unable to go on with it after working in the run from gate 6 when 2nd up from the break, he can be sharper in this battle.

SHAKATIE (6) did some early work last time and then had limited power over the closing stages. Runner-up her previous 3 in succession, she can be making a play here.

ALEX TEE (2) was lucky to keep the driver in the bike last start after a scrimmage and the effort thereafter had merit. Runner-up over the AP 2138m 2 starts back, his early speed is a real asset.

SELECTIONS: SPECIAL MEANING (8), GIDUP CAPTAIN (5), SHAKATIE (6), ALEX TEE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SPECIAL MEANING (8) to win

RACE FOUR

PATCHWORK JET (9)
settled in the 1x1 trail last time out and tried to make a closing challenge when best of the chasers behind the huge winner OUR EDUARDO DENARIO. Finding the right trail from this gate, he can be looking to finish over the top of them in this.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (3) has now been to the track on 3 occasions since returning from a spell, the latest when fading after being asked to grind it out in the breeze as OUR EDUARDO DENARIO bolted clear to a huge win. Settling handy from this alley, she can be making a play.

WATTS UP LETSPLAY (2) has shown some steady improvement in recent starts and last time was 6m in arrears of DOWNTOWN LUCCA. If able to continue that plane, he can feature from this alley.

LORD DENZEL (7) was sent to the breeze last start from gate 3 where he was asked to grind it out, fading in the latter stages. With an easy trip he will be searching for the gaps to offer here.

SELECTIONS: PATCHWORK JET (9), TORQUE TO THE MAX (3), WATTS UP LETSPLAY (2), LORD DENZEL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: PATCHWORK JET (9) to win

RACE FIVE

MISTER DECORUM (4) was sent to the breeze last start and forced to grind away outside the leader was unable to go on with it over the closing stages. Just 4m from PACIFIC COIN the start prior, he can be hard to follow but he finds the right type of contest to take full advantage.

GHOST GUM (8) did not have the smoothest run last start when striking trouble that dented his hopes. Not suited when asked to sit parked the start prior, he can get some cover here before looking to launch a challenging raid.

EULO FLYER (1) does not have much figure form to recommend, yet the improved gate should be a plus here. The 2nd line hast not helped in 3 of his past 5 and he can be sharper here.

ONE HELLAVA PARTY (9) placed in consecutive starts when only beaten 3m on each occasion before his latest outing when striking trouble. The gate is not ideal, but he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (4), GHOST GUM (8), EULO FLYER (1), ONE HELLAVA PARTY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER DECORUM (4) to win

RACE SIX

JAZIAH (1)
was back in the pack last start once the field sorted position after starting from gate 3. Producing a strong closing raid, she was able to get within a head of the winner. Doing some early work the start prior, she has the gate to capitalise here and land her first Redcliffe win.

MAJOR SLIP UP (8) started from this gate over this trip when rolling to sit parked and then proving too strong 2 starts back. Unable to go on with it from gate 5 last time, he can look to get into the contest early to throw down his challenge.

ARTISITIC SAINT (7) was a winner here 4 starts back from the pocket trail and has placed on 2 occasions since that win. Only a neck away last start, he can have the cosy trip to strike.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (3) made the most of gate 1 last start to take them all the way for a 3m victory. The gate is a little tricky but he can be in for the fight.

SELECTIONS: JAZIAH (1), MAJOR SLIP UP (8), ARTISITIC SAINT (7), THE CASUAL GOOSE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-7-8

RACE SEVEN

TRACER BULLET (4)
pulled the trigger early from gate 3 last start to take control and from the front tried to take them all the way when gunned down in the closing stages. Striking trouble, the start prior soon after the start, he can get forward here and gets a chance for his Qld breakthrough.

MONTANA EXPRESS (6) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts, the latest when back in the draw for the first time since his 2YO days. Trying to make a closing play in that contest, he went within a flared nostril of the prize. He knows how to approach the wide gate and can challenge here.

SWEET SANGRIA (8) rolled forward to secure position from gate 4 last start and was in for the fight when 3m in arrears of the winner. A tidy 3rd 3 starts back, she can be making a play here.

JILLIBY GIZMO (9) rolled the sleeves to grind it out 2 starts back and was game in defeat when just a neck from the winner. Again, working last start, he has podium claims in this.

SELECTIONS: TRACER BULLET (4), MONTANA EXPRESS (6), SWEET SANGRIA (8), JILLIBY GIZMO (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TRACER BULLET (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

OLIVER WINKLE (2)
has been without a win for some time, but his recent starts have started to show improvement. Not suited off the 2nd line last time when chasing, he was midfield 2 starts back. With good early speed he can fire out here and back to The Triangle can give some cheek out in front.

SWEET LOMBO (3) powered out of the machine last start to take control from gate 5 last start and once in front was able to take them all the way. Fading after sitting parked the start prior when rolling forward from the 2nd line, he can settle handy to the action to make a challenge.

FAVREAU (1) was a winner here 3 starts back when pouncing on the lead from gate 4 and taking them all the way. Not suited when retreating at his past 2 starts, he has the gate to feature here.

PIPPA MAGUIRE (5) has 2 wins from her past 4 starts here at Redcliffe, the latest when leading all the way from gate 3. The wider gate stings here but she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: OLIVER WINKLE (2), SWEET LOMBO (3), FAVREAU (1), PIPPA MAGUIRE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: OLIVER WINKLE (2) to win

RACE NINE

SPEAK WITH SAM (1)
makes his first appearance in Qld and arrives a four-time winner. Last seen when claiming victory over the 1730m at Bathurst when leading throughout, he strikes a tricky race first up but lands all the options from this gate to make it a successful start.

LA SAFRON (3) had been building towards a win after a pair of smart placings, including a nice effort from gate 6 when working home in the closing stages to be just a half-head away. Finding the right conditions last start, he was able to power over the top to arrive and can go close again here.

GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (5) tackled a much tougher battle last start over the AP mile when at the tail as JUDDY DOUGLAS claimed the prize. Luckless when only 2m away the start prior, a return to The Triangle is firmly in his favour.

BLISSFULDAY (4) has started from the 2nd line at his past 3 in succession and should appreciate a return to the front line here. A passing lane winner 6 starts back, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: SPEAK WITH SAM (1), LA SAFRON (3), GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (5), BLISSFULDAY (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

TEE JAY CEE (1)
made the most of conditions to pounce on the poles from gate 2 here 2 starts back over this trip and from the front was never in danger in posting a 10m margin. Forced to work in the early stages last start did not suit over the AP mile and from this gate he gets his chance to dictate.

PACIFIC COIN (5) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here over the 1780m trip. Starting from gate 9 last time out, he was able to sweep home to take victory which followed a smart effort from gate 5 to take the prize. If the tempo is strong, he can make a challenge.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) was buried away against the poles here last start after easing from gate 5 and then was able to ease off at the 500m and powered home to claim a big win. The cosy trip should suit.

FAIRIESDELIGHT (2) takes her first look at The Triangle but comes up with the good gate in a winnable contest. Tackling mares’ qualifiers at her past 3 starts, she cannot be overlooked.

SELECTIONS: TEE JAY CEE (1), PACIFIC COIN (5), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7), FAIRIESDELIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-7
