FRIGHTENING DELAGO – Could muster no early speed and travelled wide throughout.
LEO’S EXPRESS – Ducked out away from the whip on several occasions at the top of the home straight.
GALSHADOW – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
GOLDEN MOUNT – Bumped with TOPOGRAPHIC at the start.
TOPOGRAPHIC – Bumped with GOLDEN MOUNT at the start.
Race 2: MICHAEL HORMAN TRANSPORT CLASS 3 PLATE - 1000 metres
NEVADA MO – Jumped away awkwardly.
CASSAVANCE – Travelled wide with no cover.
WICKED GRIMSHAW – Slow to begin.
Race 3: BELYANDO BRACELET OPEN HANDICAP - 1000 metres
DRAGON FIRE – Travelled five wide with no cover.
BENCHI PEGASUS – Slow into stride.
DRAYMAN - Travelled four wide with no cover.
I AM A LAD – Jumped away awkwardly.
TEN GOAL POLO – Bumped DRAYMAN shortly after the start.
DRAYMAN – Bumped TEN GOAL POLO shortly after the start.
Race 4: PAT DILLON MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP - 1200 metres
SUPER KEAN – Reared as the gates opened, jumping inward heavily contacting an inside runner.
REAL MACHINE – Reared as the gates opened dislodging the rider. Jockey M. Milford was uninjured in this incident.
LORD RUSSEL – Slow to muster speed and travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
ALMONDELLA – Travelled wide with no cover for much of the race.
DIAMOND JESS – Contacted heavily at the start when an outside runner jumped awkwardly. Travelled wide for much of the race with cover.
Race 5: J & J SYPHER CONTRACTING ALAN PECKETT MEMORIAL BM 65 HANDICAP - 1200 metres
The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow Apprentice E. Bell requested to look at the patrol footage. After doing so, App. Bell declined to proceed and correct weight was declared.
AVOID THE MISSUS – Travelled wide with no cover.
TURKEY BEACH – Trainer T. Austin was fined $100 presenting TURKEY BEACH with incorrect gear. Rolled out marginally over the concluding stages.
BOUND TO ME – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
DUCK IN DUBAI – Jumped away awkwardly and slow. Jockey M. Haley reported the gelding felt sore when put under pressure and was reluctant to stretch out.
ALERT BY SEA – Travelled wide in the early stages with cover, shifted in near the 270 metres contacting an inside runner and continued to lay in over the concluding stages.
CANALASSO – Travelled wide for much of the race.
ROSEXCEL – Contacted at the 270 metres when an outside runner shifted ground, then raced in restricted room over the concluding stages when runners either side shifted ground.
Race 6: ALPHA COMMUNITY CUP/RACE TO ROMA QUALIFER OPEN HANCICAP – 1700 metres
ARTIE’S SHORE – Resented the kickback and didn’t handle the track conditions.
MENACING – Reared as the gates opened.
OUR BEATNIK – Slow to begin. Trainer M. Oates stated the gelding may be due for a spell after the performance.
MISHANI CENTURION – Slow into stride.
SHADOW PRINCE – Travelled wide with no cover.
POTEMKIN – Jockey D. Evans was cautioned regarding his use of the whip on the gelding.
NERO D’AVOLA – Jockey D. Rewald was cautioned about his whip use on the gelding.
