There was a slight delay to the start of the first race as the photo finish equipment was readjusted.
 
Race 1: RAY WHITE – RURAL PROPERTY BM 55 HANDICAP – 1000 metres
 
FLEWSHOT – Checked at the start losing ground when runners either side jumped away awkwardly.
 
ANGELS OF FENWAY and ELITE GREY bumped on jumping.
 
PRETORIUS – Shifted in approaching the 800m tightening runners to the inside, then travelled wide with cover. Apprentice D. McGillivray was reminded of his obligations when shifting ground.
 
BLAINE - Jumped awkwardly.
 
ALL TOO SWEET – Tightened for room near the 800m when an outside runner shifted ground.
 
SE RENDRE – Eased off heels approaching the 800m to relieve pressure to the inside then travelled wide for the remainder. Jockey Richardson stating the mare felt awkward in her action. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed no general abnormalities.
 
OUR GIRL TAMIYA – Jumped inwards heavily contacting FLEWSHOT, tightened for room and slightly eased nearing the 800m when an outside runner shifted ground.
 
LOLLIPOP ROCKET – Slow into stride.
 
Race 2: RAY WHITE – RURAL 2020 TWILIGHT RACES BM 55 HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
BETTER THAN GOLD – Jumped inwards heavily contacting an inside runner and continue to lay in for several strides.
 
OLIFANTS – Travelled wide in the early stages.
 
HOGES – Slow to begin and slow into stride then travelled wide for the majority of the race.
 
AQUAGEM – Heavily contacted and ricocheted between runners at the start when runners either side jumped awkwardly then travelled wide in the middle stages.
 
DUCK IN DUBAI – Bounded out of the gates on jumping and hung in down the home straight. Trainer C. Prow advised the gelding would be spelled now and possibly retired.
 
FLOSS’S DREAM – Jumped outwards contacting an outside runner and hung out for most of the race. Trainer R. Simpson advising he had been trialling different gear in trackwork and would keep finessing.  
 
 
Race 3: RAY WHITE – REAL ESTATE MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres  
 
BRADDOCK DOWN – Travelled wide with cover.
 
SWAYSIR – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
WEATHER MAN – Blundered on jumping.
 
REBEL REBELLION -- Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
VENTURES BENIR – Slow into stride.
 
THE BEAT – Apprentice D. McGillivray was reprimanded under AR 132(7)(a)(ii) for his use of the whip prior to the 100m, 2 more than permissible under the rule.
 
 
Race 4: RAY WHITE – PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200 metres  
 
LUCKY BEE & ANOTHER EPISODE were both scratched as there were no riders available.
 
BUWAN – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
GOLDEN STREET – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
IQELA – Contacted on both sides when runners either side jumped awkwardly and was eased back. Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
HOT CHOCOLATE – Travelled wide with cover.
 
 
Race 5: RAY WHITE – LIVESTOCK RURAL OPEN HANDICAP – 1300 metres      
 
BEST GUESS – Raced into restricted room down the back straight and had to be eased on several occasions.
 
SMOOTH CONSUL – Travelled wide.
 
ARGENTO PERLO – Over raced in the early stages and travelled wide with cover.
 
VAN WINKEL – Over raced in the early stages as the pace out front slackened.
 
THE KROC – Slow to begin and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
ARELLANO – Pulled up shortly after the post with suspected breathing abnormalities. A post-race veterinary inspection failed to reveal any major abnormalities. Connections instructed the gelding would now be scoped to reveal any irregularities and stewards advised a veterinary certificate would be required prior to the gelding racing again.
 
AURIC GOLD – Slow to begin.
 
Race 6: RAY WHITE RURAL LONGREACH / BARCALDINE BM 60 HANDICAP – 1600 metres
 
MISHANI ISTANA & ORDELL were both scratched as there were no riders available.
 
RHYOLA – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
STYLISH LUCK – Eased back shortly after the start then over-raced for a short distance. Travelled wide in the latter stages.
 
MISHANI CENTURION – Slow to begin.
