RACE 1: DALBY RURAL SUPPLIES/EDGAR&WOOD/PACIFIC SEEDS MAIDEN PLATE -1300M
 
BEAUTY SECRETS – Slow to begin.
 
TARGETS – Became awkward passing the 200m.
 
STASH THE SILVER – Over raced in the early stages with its head in the air.
 
THELLYSON – Raced keen in the early stages.
 
HEEBEE RIGHT MATE – Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with another runner.
 
HUGHSTAAD – Blundered at the start and was bumped by another runner shortly after.
 
 
ACT LIKE A LADY – Raced wide early until crossing to a position at the rear of the field passing the 1000m. Apprentice J. Morrow was unable to claim down to his riding weight and as a result was unable to claim. As there was no other apprentice available, apprentice Morrow was permitted to fulfil the riding engagement, however was fined the sum of $100.
 
ROCK ON HIGH – Raced wide without cover for the majority. Apprentice S. Wilcock was unable to claim down to her riding weight and as a result was only able to claim 1.5kg of her 2kg allowance. As there was no other apprentice available, apprentice Wilcock was permitted to fulfil the riding engagement, however was fined the sum of $100.
 
RACE 2: KELLCO LIVESTOCK/WOOSTER FAMILY/DALBY LEAGUES CLUB CLASS B HANDICAP- 1300M
 
DE BANDIT VEGA – When questioned in relation to the disappointing performance Jockey R. Goltz explained that the gelding was back in distance, did not handle the early tempo and when placed under pressure in the home straight finished off fairly.
 
SWEET JAIN – Jockey S. Sweedman reported that the mare did not appreciate the firm surface and when under pressure in the home straight failed to stretch out.
 
HAY LIFE – Jockey P. Romeo reported that the gelding raced green throughout.
 
KAMILAROI – Trainer K. Waller advised that the intentions are for the horse to settle further back in the field. The gelding was ridden accordingly. Laid in over the concluding stages.
 
LADY SELKIE – Jockey C. Eaton reported that the mare did not handle the firm surface.
 
SUPERVISOR – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
ANGELS LOVE – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
MISSY ATTITUDE – Slow to begin.
 
DAISY PEARL – Raced wide early and middle stages.
 
 
RACE 3: WESTERN DOWNS REGIONAL COUNCIL BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP – 1200M
 
ARIGOLD – Raced in restricted room at the 1000m and had to be steadied when CHRISTMAS CHEER shifted in. Apprentice M. Wishart was reminded of her obligations when shifting ground.
 
GUD ONYA – Tightened for room and had to be steadied near the 1000m.
 
HANOVER SQUARE – Slow to begin. Had to be steadied near the 1000m and as a result was forced wider on the track without cover for the remainder.
 
THIN DISGUISE – Bumped on jumping.
 
REWARD FOR FASHION – Began awkwardly resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced. Obliged to shift in near the 150m to obtain clear running.
 
DREAM OF ASCOT – Shifted out whilst being ridden under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
 
RACE 4: ELDERS/WARWICK CREDIT UNION/WINDSOR HOTEL QTIS MAIDEN PLTE – 1000M
 
Start of this race was delayed when SPOT ON reared over in the enclosure dislodging its rider. The gelding underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared fit to race. App. M. Wishart  suffered no significant injury.
 
SPOT ON – Near the 800m had to be steadied from heels.
 
NANCY BIRD – Slow to muster speed.
 
VANZANT – Raced wide without cover. Hung out round the home turn. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
 
D’OR DAME – Slow to begin. Made the home turn wide.
 
MASSIE WHISPER – Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 5:LANDMARK/CARRICK ALAND ACCOUNTANTS/SINGH TPT BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP– 1000M
 
 
THE INTERN – Laid in during the home straight.
 
BOWIES BAYCONI – Slow to begin. Jockey P. Romeo reported that the mare did not handle the firm racing surface and was reluctant to stretch out.
 
SANJAY – Near the 600m had to be steadied from heels.
 
HIGH CALL – Slow to muster early speed.
 
SPECTACULAR ROCK – Hung out leaving the 400m, until entering home straight.  Laid in over the concluding stages.
 
WILD ELEMENT – Inconvenienced near the 400m when SPECTACULAR ROCK hung out.
 
RED BLANKET – Raced wide without cover throughout. Laid in in the home straight.
