After viewing the stewards’ patrol footage, apprentice S. After taking evidence from all parties and viewing the videos stewards were of the opinion that MEET MR TAYLOR, which laid outwards in the straight, carried PUBLISHING POWER outwards, which momentarily brushed BROOK MAGIC after passing the 100m. After taking into account the degree of interference and the manner in which both horses finished off the race, stewards were not satisfied that had the interference not occurred BROOK MAGIC would have beaten PUBLISHING POWER and therefore dismissed the objection and declared correct weight on the numbers semaphored.
