RACE 1. HIGHLANDS FINANCIALPLANNING & INSURANCE Benchmark 55 Handicap 1000 Metres
 
TYRANNIZE (NZ) Raced wide throughout.
DEUS Lost ground after jumping away awkwardly. For the majority of the home straight had difficulty obtaining clear running.
FLINDERS DEACON Shifted in shortly after the start and bumped Authadane on a number of occasions. Race wide throughout.
AUTHADANE Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by Flinders Deacon. Raced wide throughout
 
RACE 2. MEMBERSHIPS STILL AVAILABLE AT EJC Benchmark 55 Handicap 1000 Metres
 
Trainer Mr J Manzelmann was fined the sum of $100 for having presented Exceptional Rhythm without blinkers which are part of the mare’s approved racing gear.
CLAPPERS Bumped on jumping by Egyptianbear.
STYLISH SON Raced wide throughout.
ALITTLEBITTAMAGIC Raced wide throughout.
EGYPTIANBEAR Bumped Clappers on jumping. Approaching the winning post shied at a shadow and shifted outwards abruptly.
EXCEPTIONAL RHYTHM Raced wide throughout. Shortly after the start was bumped by Hyper Drive.
HYPER DRIVE Shortly after the start was bumped by Exceptional Rhythm.
WORTH THE TIME Was slow into stride. Inconvenienced approaching the winning post by Egyptianbear which shifted outwards abruptly.
RACE 3. EMERALD JOCKEY CLUB Maiden Plate 1100 Metres
 
PRINCE NUTCRACKER Slow to begin.
ATTARD Became unbalanced at the start when bumped by Galshadow.
DREAM DANZA When questioned regarding the performance of the mare, the rider stated that after being caught wide his mount never travelled well and failed to respond to his riding from the 600 metres and was disappointing in the home straight. A post- race veterinary examination of the mare revealed no abnormalities. However, it was reported that the off-fore plate was loose.
GALSHADOW Jumped inwards at the start and bumped Attard. Shortly after passing the 300 metres miss-strode on two occasions and became very unbalanced.
ROCKY ROWEL Slow to begin.
 
RACE 4. LADIES & TRADIES DAY RACEDAY SEPT 7TH Class B Handicap 1200 Metres
 
BONNCHELON Raced wide throughout.
FAIRFACTS raced wide throughout.
SOUND INVESTMENT Shifted inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
LA JULIETTE Prior to correct weight being declared, the rider Apprentice Ms M Kennedy, requested to view the photo finish image. Having viewed the image Apprentice Kennedy agreed with the judge’s placings.
FUN FOR ME Slow to begin.
STAR FROM HEAVEN Slow to begin.
 
RACE 5. BOOK YOUR NEXT FUNCTION AT PIONEER CREEK Class B Handicap 1200 Metres
 
BOLD SAM Slow to begin.
GLORY ACCOUNT After being restless in the barrier, began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
SARABAH Slow to begin.
TRY BEFORE DUBAI Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 6. MARABOON TAVERN OPEN Handicap 1200 Metres
 
MASON’S CHANCE Proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages.
MISS ANNA Raced keenly in the early stages.
THE BAKER Slow to begin and and shortly after the start eased to avoid the heels of Dakota Rocks.
DAKOTA ROCKS Shifted out shortly after the start.
 
RACE 7. EMERALD 100 OCTOBER 12TH Benchmark 60 Handicap 1300 Metres
 
HUTCHO Slow to begin.
GOOD CATCH (NZ) Slow to begin.
MILNE BAY Near the 900 metres eased to avoid the heels of Enemy Of Man which shifted in slightly.
ENEMY OF MAN Crowded at the start between Alert By Sea and Milne Bay. Proved difficult to settle in the early stages and raced wide throughout.
