Race 1: COLONIAL SUPERMARKET BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1450 metres
 
HUTCHO – Slow to begin.
 
NOBODY BETTER – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
IMMUTABLE – Raced wide throughout. Jockey J Felix reported that the gelding had resented the kickback.
 
WARRUMBUNGLE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
 
 
Race 2: TREVOR MORRIS BUILDERS MAIDEN PLATE 900 metres
 
JULES RULES – Raced wide throughout.
 
CATO – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
DEVIL’S NUMBER – Was inclined to lay in throughout. Raced wide throughout.
 
 
 
Race 3: CAVA HYDRAULICS QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE 1000 metres
 
NO CRYSTAL BALL – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities. Began awkwardly bumping with a runner to the inside. Resented the kickback. Raced wide through the early and middle stages.
 
MORE THAN FORTUNE – Bumped with a runner to the outside on jumping.
 
FLOSSY TOP – Raced wide throughout.
 
A’RICHBRUNETTE – Raced wide throughout.
 
FA FA – Jockey D Ballard was permitted to ride the 1.5kg over its allotted weight as no other rider was available. Raced wide throughout.
 
 
 
Race 4: 2021 BATTLE OF THE BUSH MOUNT ISA QUALIFIER OPEN PLATE 1100 metres
 
BOWIE ROCKS – Knuckled as the start was effected. Raced wide throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
WORLD OF PAIN – Bumped with a runner to the outside on jumping.
 
TANGO RAIN – Was bumped by a runner the outside on jumping. Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
 
 
 
Race 5: STEEJO PRESS CLASS B HANDICAP 1200 metres
 
ROCK’N BLITZ (NZ) – Jockey D Ballard was permitted to ride the gelding 0.5kg over its allotted weight. Raced wide from the 600m onwards.
 
ARCING HARD – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
EXPOSED SECRET – Approaching the 600m shifted out to obtain clear running in doing so hampered a runner to its outside. Raced wide throughout. Jockey K Ballard was advised to exercise greater care under similar circumstances.
 
DUNTROON MAN – Momentarily hampered by another runner passing the 600m. Was in inclined to lay in throughout. Raced wide throughout. Trainer Miss S Royes was advised that a warning would be placed on the geldings racing manners.
