Race 1: RJC Members Appreciation QTIS 2yo Maiden H’cap – 1100m

DACXI DELIVERS – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Hampered on jumping away and as a result was slow to begin. In the vicinity of the 700m had to be steadied after improving into heels. Raced green under pressure in the straight.

IMALI – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Jumped away awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

ROLLINWITHTHEFLOW – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Laid out rounding the home turn. A post race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the gelding’s gum.

AWARE OF STYLE – Jumped away awkwardly.

BEGS BELIEF – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced wide and green throughout. A post race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery.

GOLDEN FEATURE – Slow to begin.

BROOK’S GIRL – Raced in restricted room for a number of strides in the vicinity of the 400m.

LEGAL CHANCE – In the vicinity of the 400m was obliged to shift out to improve into clear running. Laid in under pressure in the straight.


Race 2: XXXX Gold QTIS 2yo Maiden H’cap – 1100m

AMOREM – Which was advertised as a colt was found to be gelded upon inspection by stewards. Trainer Mr A. Coome was reprimanded under AR102(a) for failing to update the procedure on his stable return. Hampered on jumping away.

SAHARA SALLY – Underwent a pre-race examination and was passed fit to start. Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the straight. In the vicinity of the 250m shifted out under riding. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

ISIS BRUMBY - The start of this race was delayed approximtely 4 minutes owing to ISIS BRUMBY proving difficult to load. Was declared a late scratcching at 12.16 pm after refusing to load. Trainer K. Miller was advised that ISIS BRUMBY would be required to obtain a further barrier certificate prior to any future race start. Subsequent to the event all monies invest on the horse were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable.

19 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets
13 cents in the dollar on the face value win bets for the place
23 cents in the dollar on the face value of 2nd place bets
17 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets

Trainer advised that the ISIS BRUMBY would be leaving his stable.

LADY LOWBURN – Jumped away awkwardly and was hampered at the start.

EMILEE’S EMPIRE – Jumped away awkwardly. Laid in in the early stages.

PULCHERIA – Slow into stride.

TAMBO’S QUEEN – Jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

FOXTER – Raced greenly throughout and in the vicinity of the 250m had to be steadied to avoid the heels of SAHARA SALLY, which was racing greenly. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.


Race 3: RJC Club 150 Members Appreciation Maiden H’cap – 1300m

HUGS ‘N’ KISSES – Declared a late scratching at 9am due to no available rider.

PRINCE DUPORTH – Reared on jumping away. Hung in throughout the event, placing its rider, B. Richardson, at a disadvantage. Trainer K. Smyth was advised that PRINCE DUPORTH would be required to trial tractably in an official jumpout prior to any future race. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse had bled from one nostril. Trainer K. Smyth was further advised that the horse must gallop 1000m in the presence of a steward prior to accepting any future race start.

FRANKIE DREAMIN’ – Hampered on jumping away.

ALL FOR HARRY – Hampered on jumping away.

POP’S DREAM – Jumped away awkwardly and was slow to begin. Had to be steadied in the vicinity of the 1100m after improving onto heels.

BLUE INSTINCT – Hampered on jumping away.

BIMBIMBI BARB – In the vicinity of the 1200 had to be restrained after being crossed by JOMERA, which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey B.Appo, rider of JOMERA, was reminded of his obligations to be clear when shifting ground in future.

NOT A SINGLE DAY – Overraced in the early and middle stages. Laid in under pressure in the straight.

TALES OF EPSILON – Held up for clear running from the 600m to the 400m and had to be shifted out to improve into clear running. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.

JOMERA – Raced keen in the middle stages after being crossed by I FEEL REAL.

I FEEL REAL – Raced wide throughout.

DIP DYE - When questioned regarding the horse leading in today’s event, jockey D Graham stated she was instructed to be positive on the filly in today’s event but expected DIP DYE to settle with cover around midfield. She added after beginning well found herself in the leading position and added that her mount, in her opinion, was better suited racing on the speed. Trainer S. S. O’Shea agreed with jockey Graham in that DIP DYE was better suited racing on the pace and would benefit with that racing pattern for the remainder of the remainder of the preparation. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 4: www.callaghanpark.com.au Open H’cap – 1500m

NOTIO – Slow to begin. In the vicinity of the 1300m had to be steadied to avoid the heels of I CAN I WILL I AM, which was carried in by FAB’S COWBOY, which shifted in marginally. Apprentice D. Graham, rider of FAB’S COWBOY, was reminded of her obligations to be clear when shifting ground in future.

POETIC HEART – Jumped away awkwardly, bumping the outside barrier gate.

REGAL REEC E – Jumped away awkwardly.

BLUE JEST – Raced wide throughout.

FAB’S COWBOY – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.

CAPTAINS WAY – When questioned regarding the horse’s performance, trainer J. Doolan stated that it was her intention to step the gelding up to an 1800m race next start and if the gelding didn’t show improved performance it was her intention to retire CAPTAIN’S WAY. Stewards advised that a warning would be placed on the record of the horse in relation to its competitiveness and would be monitored at its next performance.

Race 5: Like Us On Facebook QTIS 3yo Maiden H’cap – 1100m

SO PROUD – Jumped away awkwardly, bumping the inside barrier partition. Apprentice D Graham contacted her knee on the barrier partition when leaving the gates and was placed at a disadvantage as a result for the remainder of the race.

FLYING BLONDE – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced green when placed under pressure in the straight.

ESPEREUS – Stood flatfooted when the start was effected and was slow to begin. Trainer A. Stephens was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse regarding it standing flatfooted.

MISS DAISY – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in abruptly. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Raced wide throughout.

NEW SECRET – Severely hampered on jumping away.

KILKENNY LAD – Was severely hampered on jumping away. Raced green under pressure in the straight.

ALSAURUSFIRST – Overraced in the early stages.

OYASHIO – Held up for clear running in the vicinity of the 300m. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in both forelegs. Trainer C. Attard was advised that he must furnish a veterinary clearance prior to any future race start. Mr Attard informed stewards that OYASHIO would now be spelled.

BRAHMINY – Laid in under pressure in the straight. Lost its near fore plate in running.

Apprentice D Graham was examined by the on course Ambulance officers and passed fit to fulfil her remaining engagements


Race 6: Bloodstock Auction Class 3 Plate – 1100m

ROCK’N’ROLL BOBBY – Slow to begin.

SAY PLEASE – Jumped away awkwardly.

TERMINATE – Slow to begin. A post race veterinary examination of the horse, which was beaten a considerable distance, revealed TERMINATE to be lame in the near foreleg. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be supplied prior to the horse’s next race start.

SEQUALO’S SPIRIT – In the vicinity of the 500m was obliged to shift wider on the track to improve into clear running and in doing so contacted RURAL REBEL.

RURAL REBEL – Contacted in the vicinity of the 500m by SEQUALO’S SPIRIT, which shifted out to improve.

TA CHANSON – Laid in under pressure in the straight.

BOLD SENSATION – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.


Race 7: 2020 CYS Vendors Appreciation Class 3 Plate – 1100m

PARISIAN TYCOON – A post race veterinary examination found the horse to be lame in the off hind leg and showing signs of a poor post-race recovery. Trainer A. Coome was advised that a veterinary clearance must be supplied prior to its next race start.

MALVAGIO – Reared on jumping away. Overraced in the early and middle stages. Had to be steadied in the vicinity of the 900m after improving onto heels.

ELEGANT ZOUS – In the vicinity of the 900m had to be steadied to avoid the heels of STREAMLINER, which shifted in abruptly after becoming awkward in its stride.

ALONEINABAA – Overraced in the early and middle stages.

TELL EVERYBODY – In the vicinity of the 800m had to be steadied after improving onto heels.

SLICK MOVER – Laid in under pressure in the straight.

APPLICANT – Hung in under pressure in the home straight.

DANCING TYCOON – Raced wide throughout.

BRAD – A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have lost its near fore plate in running.

TELL EVERYBODY – A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

MALVAGIO – A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

BOOTS ‘N’ AWE - A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any visible abnormalities.

Race 8: Hygain/Mitavite Class 6 Plate – 1300m

SHENRON – Trainer C. Attard pleaded guilty to a charge under AR106(1) for presenting the horse without blinkers and was fined $100. Knuckled on jumping away.

CAVELLTON – Slow to begin. Held up for clear running from the vicinity of the 400m and could not be fully tested at any stage in the run to the finish.

HEYINGTON – Hampered shortly after jumping away.

CELEBRATION DAY – Hampered on jumping away. Contacted in the vicinity of the 500m.

ATTIQUE – Jumped away awkwardly. Overraced in the early and middle stages. Lost its near hind plate in running.

JETINTOIT – Overraced in the early stages.

ABSOLUT ARTIE – In the vicinity of the 600m was disappointed when attempting to improve into a run to the outside of SHENRON, and in doing so contacted SNIPONET. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

HEZHOME – In the vicinity of the 500m shifted out in an attempt to improve and in doing so contacted CELEBRATION DAY. Lost its near hind plate in running.

SEVEN YEAR REWARD – Raced wide throughout.

ONEMORE EMOTION – Raced wide throughout and laid in under pressure in the straight.


Race 9: #Spotlightonzones – Follow Us On FB Open H’cap – 1100m

RAIDEN – Hampered shortly after jumping away.

TAMBO’S HEART – Contacted the gates as the start was effected.

PALLADIAN – Slow to begin and was held up for clear running on entering the home straight. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

FRATELLINO – Slow to begin.

HI HARRY – Slow to begin.

TRERICE – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Hung in under pressure in the straight.


Race 10: Iron Jack Benchmark 58 H’cap – 1500m

FOLLOW ON – Declared a late scratching at 5.06 pm after refusing to load. Subsequent to the event all monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable:

7 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets
7 cents in the dollar on the face value win bets for the place
10 cents in the dollar on the face value of 2nd place bets
8 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets

Trainer O. Cairns was advised that FOLLOW ON must load successfully in 2 consecutive jumpouts prior to any future start.

MISS STAR – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.

GLADISHING – Slow to begin.

HEZHOME – Lost off hind plate in running.

CELOSIA – Momentarily held up for clear running in the vicinity of the 500m.

DIAMOND ACCOUNT – In the vicinity of the 500m was obliged to shift out to improve into clear running and in doing so contacted ASTRAL KNIGHT.

ASTRAL KNIGHT – Overraced in the early and middle stages. Was contacted and carried wider in the vicinity of the 500m.

COMMANDER’S WATCH – Laid out under pressure in the straight.

SIR HARRY – Raced wide throughout.
