When questioned regarding the perceived form improvement of the mare, trainer K Miller stated that the mare was to be ridden forward as had been the instructions at its previous starts. However at its most recent start she travelled further back than anticipated and was first up from a short let up. Mr Miller added that being slightly fitter and being able to race in her favourable position, which is forward but not necessarily leading and travelling comfortable in that position may have assisted in a better performance today.
