Forster that the horse had trialled without blinkers, and that this was the horse’s first start for her stable, stewards acceded to her request to permit the horse to race without blinkers, notwithstanding that they were listed as part of the horse’s registered gear. A public announce was made to this effect. Hampered shortly after the start.
