Passing the 1300m had to be steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of REAL ELUSIVE. Approaching the 300m improved on to heels and had to alter course to the outside to secure clear running passing the 200m. Inside the final 100m shifted out under pressure resulting in RED BALTER racing in restricted room for a short distance. Rider R. Wiggins, rider SCOTTISH LAD, was advised to exercise more care.
