It feels like summer again and the Queensland Summer Racing Carnival is where the magic happens trackside. 

The Grand Prix Stakes Raceday at Eagle Farm on December 20 will see the three-year-olds take centre stage in the $300,000 Group 3 feature. 

The Grand Prix has a history of unearthing winter champions in the Sunshine State, with the race producing future Group 1 winners in Gypsy Goddess and Kovalica in recent years.

The card also showcases black-type features including the Gold Edition Plate and Lough Neagh Stakes.
