WOLF SIGNS QUALIFYING PACE 2138m
Race detailsPressing to the front here two starts back, COOL NIGHT (8) was trying to fend off the challengers but had to settle with a fourth placing. Midfield from last start after facing a second line gate and the tempo making the chasers ineffective, he can stalk the speed here and be ready to strike.
ROCK HAMMER (1) started from inside the second line last week and was shuffled three back. Holding ground to the line as the leader and winner TINDER SURPRISE sliced out a 54.6 close out, he is better suited rolling and from the gate can muster early to throw it down.
APPLIED (6) was game in defeat last start when sitting parked and going within a half-head of the winner HUXTON. A rise to 2138 and the wide gate make it a bigger hurdle.
COUNTY COURT JUDGE (12) eased from gate 7 last start before attacking the line over the closing stages for the bronze. Any tempo will assist his claims.
SELECTIONS: COOL NIGHT (8), ROCK HAMMER (1), APPLIED (6), COUNTY COURT JUDGE (12)

LADBROKES QUICK MULTI JUNIOR FFA 2138m
Race detailsPreparing to forgive the last start anomaly that ATTACHMENT (2) threw up where he was forced to sit parked following a mid race move from the second line to sit parked. Sectionally his effort was solid when resuming in a standing start event when making an early error and conditions look more palatable here.
MULLUM HANK (5) secured the 1x1 trail last start and was solid to the line when 4m from WHOS DELIGHT. Forced to grind it out first over the start prior as CHEERSTOLOU put the race out of reach from the front, his run 3 back was luckless when only beaten a neck. Despite a tricky gate, he can issue the challenge.
CONGO LINE (8) is effective with a soft trip and maps to be tucked away here and awaiting the gaps. Runner-up behind WHOS DELIGHT last time, he will be probing.
BIGGER THE BETTOR (1) resumes from a freshen following a last start win at this trip. Taking the trail before diving through for a narrow win, he can feature.
SELECTIONS: ATTACHMENT (2), MULLUM HANK (5), CONGO LINE (8), BIGGER THE BETTOR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ATTACHMENT (2) to win

LEADING EDGE SECURITY BAND 5 PACE 1660m
Race detailsNarrowly defeated in a UDC heat after setting the tempo in front, HUXTON (3) bounced back with a dictating victory last week highlighted by a 54.2 closing half. With the gate to get forward and force the issue, he is a smart type and gets the chance to replicate the last start victory.
BELLISIMO ACQUISTO (4) produced a smart performance first up for the new barn, running on late for the bronze. Circling them from the second line to take control last time, he kept the power on for a strong 53.4 rate over the 2138 trip. Positioning cheaply can see him issue the challenge.
SIR RICHARD LEE (2) forced the issue at 2138 two starts back and from the front held off the challengers. Producing a gritty effort last start from the breeze, early speed assists his claims.
BETTERTHAN POPSY (8) will need a slice of luck at some stage from this game as he looks in danger of being snookered. A beaten fav last start when setting the tempo and then fading, he will search for gaps.
SELECTIONS: HUXTON (3), BELLISIMO ACQUISTO (4), SIR RICHARD LEE (2), BETTERTHAN POPSY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HUXTON (3) to win

TONY VEIVERS MEMORIAL TROT 2138m
Race detailsWorking around the field in the middle stages two starts back, GOLDEN SUNSET (6) sat parked and wilted late over the 3157 marathon. Finding running line cover last week at 2138, she ran the star GUS to a 3m margin in holding on for the silver. The gate is awkward, but she should have the edge on these.
AJAY VOLSTEAD (8) will be presented with early options to ease off the fence here as the lone runner from the second line. Working to the front before releasing and then shuffled to three back last start, his run the start prior was luckless behind NOT AS PROMISED. With the right trip, he can throw it down.
ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (3) faces a rise for this contest, but comes into it full of trot. Completing the sweep of the McNeil Series stamped with a 17m margin in the Final, he can take the next step.
ZEALOUS SPUR (7) is afforded no favours from the outside paint, but can never be discounted. Game in defeat last start when 3rd to GUS after sitting parked, he has claims again.
SELECTIONS: GOLDEN SUNSET (6), AJAY VOLSTEAD (8), ALDEBARANSTILINSKI (3), ZEALOUS SPUR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLDEN SUNSET (6) to win

GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND MARES OPEN PACE 1660m
Race detailsBooting through to hold the front last time out, ZAHRA LOU (1) kept the chasers chasing by posting a 3m margin. Burning the candle early with a 26.5 opening panel, that was the second run back from a spell and the added fitness can see her step up to repeat.
PLATINUM JEWEL (8) maps for the perfect trip in behind the speed and will be stalking. In great form, she was a winner in this grade last week from the pocket trail which followed a 2nd behind POST PAINTER. She will be looming in the stretch.
IMA QUEEN BEE (9) can opt for a peg trip which will be ideal position in a race with tempo. A winner two back in a sizzling 1.51.0 rate, she is in the mix.
TREMENDOUS SENSATION (6) returned from a freshen with a 2nd behind IMA QUEEN BEE. The wide gate stings again, as it has her past two, but she remains a contender.
SELECTIONS: ZAHRA LOU (1), PLATINUM JEWEL (8), IMA QUEEN BEE (9), TREMENDOUS SENSATION (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-6-8-9

SOMERSET FARMS OPEN PACE 1660m
Race detailsStarting deep into the red here two starts back over the mile, IM THE FALCON (4) was too slippery for his rivals with a 1.51.1 mile. Not suited last start from the second line, a return to the front is a big asset here and he can force the issue to capitalise.
FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (5) was super impressive in overcoming a 30m handicap in a standing start event last time out. Taking a margin on the wire after sitting parked in a 54.3 last half, he was fresh up in that contest, with his previous outing a 2nd behind TIMS A TROOPER when beaten a lip.
TIMS A TROOPER (7) faces another tough gate, but is always a contender, regardless of circumstance. Working forward last start at 2138, he loomed in the stretch to be within a head of victory. He will be fighting again.
HECTOR (2) has been racing well without anything in his favour. Under 4m from SPEAK THE TRUTH last time out, he can feature here.
SELECTIONS: IM THE FALCON (4), FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (5), TIMS A TROOPER (7), HECTOR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: IM THE FALCON (4) to win

LUNCHBOX LODGE SPELLING FARM MARES QUALIFYING PACE 1660m
Race detailsFirst up in Qld last week, ILOVEACALENDARGIRL (4) was able to make full use of the inside gate to hold the front and take them all the way. Stopping the clock in a career PB 1.52.8, she will strip fitter and take experience from the outing. Despite giving away plenty of experience to her rivals, she can look to repeat.
KEILOR BABY SHARK (5) is a newcomer to the in-form Matt Elkins barn and arrives as a last start winner. Burrowing through to hold the front at Tamworth, she was able to grip on for the prize. With two wins in five attempts this season, she has the gate to issue a challenge.
DRAW A DREAM (8) will have options as the lone second line runner. Runner-up to SHES CRUNCHY last time out when hitting the line on good order, she is a podium player here.

GARRARDS REDCLIFFE YEARLING SALE SUNDAY MARCH 29 MARES BAND 5 PACE 1660m
Race detailsDAISY DIANA (2) can look to make the most of the gate advantage over her main rivals. Sent out deep into the red last start, she was forced to sit parked and with the tough trip was 3m from the winner ZAHRA LOU. Just a half-neck from the airborne POST PAINTER two starts back, she has the gate to dictate.
SHES CRUNCHY (5) secured a strong win here last week, rolling forward to sit parked and grinding it out to claim a 3m margin. Runner-up the start prior after a tough effort, she might be rolling the sleeves again here from the awkward alley.
SWEET ADDITION (1) eased from gate 7 last start and was then hitting the line in good style behind the dictating ZAHRA LOU. Chasing home POST PAINTER at her previous two, the gate is a big help.
CREDULOUS (4) was making good metres after easing to the fence and then searching for gaps over the latter stages. Grabbing the bronze behind BELLISIMO ACQUISTO the start prior, she has claims.
SELECTIONS: DAISY DIANA (2), SHES CRUNCHY (5), SWEET ADDITION (1), CREDULOUS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DAISY DIANA (2) to win

STU VALENTINE FOR BLOODSTOCK INSURANCE MARES QUALIFYING PACE 1660m
Race detailsDrawn inside the second line last start, the effort of MARDIBRINGSAPARTY (5) had merit after being buried away. In a blanket finish she was only 5m from the winner SHES CRUNCHY which followed a 3rd after showing some early speed. Despite a potentially tricky gate, she can capitalise.
MARY ANNE ROSE (8) arrived in Qld a last start Penrith winner where she owned superior closing speed to descend on th and take the prize. Working hard in the run last start and finishing 1m from the winner MISTER REACTOR, tackling her own sex and with second line options can issue a challenge.
LULLABY (6) is given no favours from this gate, having been not far away in two starts since arriving in the Sunshine State. Runner-up at Menangle three starts back, she is in the mix.
EUREKA JO (7) showed early speed before finding running line cover two starts back when finishing a 3m 3rd behind OHANA DANCER. the gate makes it a tough ask, but she is not far from a Qld breakthrough.
SELECTIONS: MARDIBRINGSAPARTY (5), MARY ANNE ROSE (8), LULLABY (6), EUREKA JO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MARDIBRINGSAPARTY (5) to win
