Race 1: Ballard Transport QTIS Maiden Plate- 1000 Metres
1st – Naval Belle 2nd –No Involvement 3rd – Deekayal 4th- Brown Paper Bear

BROWN PAPER BEAR (S Egan) was slow into stride.
DEEKAYAL (R Hancock) jumped inwards and made contact with STREET ART(R Faehr). HAYYLERS HELL (N Evans) jumped awkwardly and shifted outwards making contact with NAVAL BELLE (App G Steele).
OUR LUCILLE (J Babarovich) hung outwards rounding the 800 mtr turn.
NO INVOLVEMENT (D Rewald) laid inwards and placed pressure on DRAGON GOLD (J Stephens) at the 800 mtr point.
NAVAL BELLE (App G Steele) was wide during the middle and concluding stages.

Race 2: Wagners Class 2 Hcp - 1000 Metres
1st – Timmy’s Turn 2nd – Agent Of Mercy 3rd – Transpire 4th –Moscow

GENTLE GOODNIGHT (R Cox) and MOSCOW (S McCullum) were both slow into stride. LAST CAN (S Egan) jumped outwards. TRANSPIRE (App G Steele) jumped inwards. Rounding the 800 mtr turn AGENT OF MERCY(R Mules) hung outwards.
TRANSPIRE (App G Steele) raced wide from home turn.
ANOTHER SHADE (R Hancock) raced wide throughout.


Race 3: Belyando Bracelet Open Hcp - 1000 Metres
1st –Last Padre 2nd – Aquatorial 3rd –Indy Miss 4th – Gesink

DUMUZI (S McCullum) jumped awkwardly and threw its head in the air.
FOUR JOY jumped outwards and (R Faehr) and tightened DANA DANCER ( R Hancock) for room. AQUATORIAL (N Evans) and LIGER (S Egan) bumped on jumping. Approaching the 800 mtr point WIGPOOL (App G Steel) shifted outwards to avoid the heels of DANA DANCER (R Hancock) and in doing so made brief contact with AQUATORIAL
(N Evans).

Approaching the 800 mtrs INDY MISS (J Stephens) was hampered between DUMUZI ( S McCullum) and FOUR JOY(R Faehr). At a subsequent inquiry into the incident, R Faehr rider of FOUR JOY, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding AR 137(a) in that he allowed FOUR JOY to shift inwards when insufficiently clear of INDY MISS which resulted in INDY MISS being checked and losing its position in running. Jockey R Faehr’s licence to ride in races was suspended from m/n 21st June 2014 up to and including 5th July 2014.

Race 4: Imparja Television Class B Hcp - 1200 Metres
1st –Breakin’ Rules 2nd –Conquistador 3rd – Count Blevic 4th – Royal Frolic

STATE OF MIND (R Faehr) was slow into stride.
BREAKIN’ RULES (S McCullum) jumped outwards and hampered CONQUISTADOR (R Hancock).
COUNT BLEVIC (App R Cox) jumped outwards and shortly after shifted inwards making contact with SPANNA (J Babarovich).
FORCED SALUTE (App G Steele) raced wide for the entire event.

Race 5: J&J Sypher Contracting Benchmark 70 Hcp- 1200 Metres
1st – Strategic Weapon 2nd – Schweiz 3rd – Ivanhoe 4th – Dominant Play

DOMINANT PLAY (R Sue-San) was slow away.
Approaching the 1000 mtr point SCHEIWZ (App G Steele) shifted inwards and tightened CRYSTAL MATES (S Egan). At a subsequent inquiry App G Steele pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding AR 137(a) in the she allowed SCHWEIZ to shift inwards when insufficiently clear of CRYSTAL MATES which resulted in CRYSTAL MATES having to be checked and lose its position in running. App G Steele’s licence to ride in races was suspended from m/n 28/6/2014 up to and including Sunday 6th July 2014.

Approaching the 800 mtr point NO OTHER Way (D Rewald) lost his position in running when travelling to the inside of IVANHOE (R Faehr) and TRAVIS (N Evans). This incident will be reviewed and inquiry may be held at a later date.

STRATEGIC WEAPON (R Cox) shifted outwards over the concluding stages.

After the event DASHING DUNLOP ( R Mules) was inspected by the club veterinarian and was found to be lame in the near fore hoof.

Race 6: Alpha Community Cup/Celebration Benchmark 80 Hcp- 1700 Metres
1st – Slysera 2nd – Lucasam 3rd – Secrets 4th – Primed

Approaching the 800 mtr point OFORAWESOME (App R Cox) shifted outwards in restricted room after improving on to the heels of LUCASAM (R Sue-san).
OFORAWESOME clipped the heels of LUCASAM and blundered badly losing considerable ground.

REIGNING TO WIN (R Hancock) raced wide throughout the event.
