CHEDDITE (G. Kliese) over-raced in the early stages.

O’MARKANE (App. T. Fujinuma) raced wide for the majority of the event.

In the straight, FIBS ON FIRE (J. Stopps) raced greenly and shifted ground when placed under pressure.

Jockey S. Kaya (VOODOO POWER) was reminded of his obligations regarding use of the whip on a horse out of contention.

GUMS OF RIVERSTONE (App. T. Fujinuma) jumped away awkwardly.

At approximately the 600m, GAYLORD (F. Edwards) was placed in restricted racing room and had to be eased from the heels of ZIVADOR (G. Kliese)

Jockey S. Kaya pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that, at approximately the 800m, he allowed his mount OUR GEORGIA ROSE to shift in when insufficiently clear of CULLENARY (F. Edwards) dictating CULLENARY inwards and causing DANZANO (D. McIntosh) to lose ground. Jockey S. Kaya’s licence to ride in races was suspended from m/n Tuesday 18th November 2008 up to and including m/n Tuesday 25th November 2008 (2 NQ meetings).
