LETS SEE ACTION (A Merritt) was slow to begin.

At the start EROS COCUNUT (D Crossland) jumped outwards at the start and bumped BLACK WILLOW (A Merritt).

Race 2: FNQ Computers Class B Handicap - 1000 metres
1st –Six Bob 2nd – Northerner 3rd – So Dotti 4th - Segontium

Jockey Merritt reported that SIX BOB hung in over the concluding stages preventing him from riding it out.

VITAL GEE (F Edwards) which was fractious in the barriers knuckled over at the start.

Near the 700m SEGONTIUM had to be eased and lost ground when hampered for room by SANDRA JEAN (K Stone) which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey Stone was reprimanded and reminded of his obligations to ensure he is sufficiently clear of other runners when shifting ground.

Leaving the 700m WEELEE FLYER (K Rockett) bumped ALWAYS AN OPTION (I Toward) and as a consequence both horses raced wide from that point onwards.


Race 3: Howlett Plant Hire Class 4 Handicap – 1100 metres
1st – Apache Magic 2nd – Jaraman Lago 3rd – Nothin’ Better 4th – Palmero Prince

JARAMAN LAGO (D Crossland) was slow into stride.

NOTHIN’ BETTER (W D’Avila) raced ungenerously rounding the home turn.

Race 4: Mcclarty Painting Contractors Class 3 Handicap – 1400 metres
1st – Pacific Highway 2nd - Genaperu 3rd – Major Rocketman 4th - Alshain

HEATWAVES (N Yadi) began awkwardly and then raced ungenerously rounding the 700m corner.

Jockey Rockett will be interviewed as to his use of the whip on MAJOR ROCKETMAN.

Race 5: TGT Pty Ltd Open Handicap – 1200 metres
1st – Fred the Legion 2nd – Discarded Bullet 3rd – Brer Fox 4th – Sun Yatsen
