Race 1: IRONBARK INN MAIDEN PLATE 1000m:
1ST-- MI KERIDA 2nd – ARGOLIS 3rd – BLUE IRIS 4th-- HAPPY HOOLIGAN


GOODBYETOALLTHAT was a late scratching at 12pm due to no available riders.
FLASH CASANOVA (R. Bellert) jumped away awkwardly, lost ground and race wide throughout.
VANGUARD (R. Kerwin) jumped inwards and bumped PRETTY LILLY (S. McCullum).
MI KERIDA (R .Mules) jumped inwards and bumped HAPPY HOOLIGAN (S. Galvin).
HAPPY HOOLIGAN and A DEPENDANT (C. Dixon) both travelled wide from the 600m.
SIR IGER (R. Faehr) travelled wide for the majority of the event.

Race 2: RAILWAY HOTEL CLASS 6 HANDICAP 1000m:
1ST -- CANDY CAN 2nd – COPPER PIN 3rd – CRAIGLEA TUNES 4TH -- NOOSA BAY

After discussing the matter with trainer T. Austin, jockey R. Kerwin was the rider of CANDY CAN.
NOOSA BAY (R. Mules) was slow away.
YOU LITTLE PEARLER (S. McCullum) jumped inwards and was slow away.
COPPER PIN (W. Doyle) travelled wide from approximately the 600m.
Jockey W. Doyle was fined $150 for excessive use of the whip under AR137(A).


Race 3: CAPRICORN PLUMBING SUPPLIES CLASS 3 PLATE 1100m:
1st –ONLY LOOKING 2nd – REGAL PRINCE 3rd – SUDDENLY SWEET 4th – I’M NOT GUILTY

SHAGSINE was a late scratching on veterinary advice at 1pm. The connections were advised that a veterinary clearance would be required before the gelding’s next start.
ONLY LOOKING (C. Dixon) jumped inwards making contact with JAZZ MUSIC (R.Faehr) who was also hindered by CRAIGLEA RAWIE(D. Rewald) jumping outwards, which caused JAZZ MUSIC to be slow away.
CRAIGLEA RAWIE raced ungenerously throughout and did not seem to handle the heavy track conditions. Jockey Rewald suggested that the gelding needs a spell.

Race 4: BARCALDINE MEAT BARN OPEN HANDICAP 1200m:
1st – GESINK 2nd – FULLAFIBZ 3rd -- KALMAN 4th – PALOLO DEEP

KNOWN PROSPECT (C. Kearney) lay over just before the gates opened causing the gelding to jump awkwardly and lose ground.
PRINCE LEO (C. Dixon) hit the gate on jumping coming out awkwardly then climbed the dust in the early stages.
EQUITANT (D. Rewald) jumped away awkwardly.
REIGNING TO WIN (R. Bellert) raced wide for the majority of the event.
INDOLLARGENCE (R. Mules) and KALMAN (R. Faehr) travelled wide from approximately the 600m.
GESINK (W. Doyle) shifted out over the concluding stages slightly hampering FULLAFIBZ (R.Kerwin).

Race 5: ARTESIAN HOTEL CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1300m:
1st – PIGTAILS 2nd – CATABOLIC 3rd – HAPPY NOW 4th -- AUTUMN BEATS

As R. Kerwin was stood down by ambulance officers, D. Brown was the replacement rider for BELLACIANO. Jockey R. Kerwin was advised she would need a medical clearance before riding again.
PIGTAILS (S. McCullum) hit the gates on jumping coming out awkwardly.
OAKFIELD SANDS (R. Mules) showed no early speed and traveled wide from the 600m.
AUTUMN BEATS (R. Faehr) travels wide for the majority of the event.
HAPPY NOW (W. Doyle) travels wide from the 600m

Jockey W. Doyle was further fined $150 for excessive use of the whip under AR137(A).

R ace 6: ARTESIAN COUNTRY TOURS CLASS B HANDICAP 1300m:
1ST-- PROFANITY 2ND -- DO AS I COMMAND 3RD -- JOG ALONG JOEL 4TH -- MANEROO CRUISE


DO AS I COMMAND (C. Dixon) was slow away.
MANEROO CRUISE (R. Faehr) showed no early speed.
PALACE DANCER (D. Brown) showed no early speed and raced ungenerously throughout.
LUCKY DOLL (W. Doyle) and ROCK MATILDA (D. Rewald) traveled wide from approximately the 6oom.
DO AS I COMMAND shifted ground over the concluding stages and had to be straightened on a few occasions.
