Race 1: PETER ANDERSON CLASS 4 PLATE 1000m:
1ST-- THREE MONKEYS 2nd -- SPIRIT OF SARAH 3rd – VEILED MORN 4th-- NO OTHER WAY
SWAGS (R. Faehr) was slow to begin, then was ridden hard early to remain in contact but showed no early speed and trailed the field for the remainder of the event.
BROKE BUT LUCKY (R. Hancock) dipped at the start.
LORDLY (J. King) traveled with for the majority of the event.
LUCY LOU (S. Galvin) traveled wide rounding the home turn.
BROKE BUT LUCKY (R. Hancock) shifted wide at the 300m to gain clear running.
Race 2: GEOORGE BOURNE & ASSOCIATES MAIDEN PLATE 1100m:
1ST -- CONQUISTADOR 2nd – RENTRICE 3rd – JUNGIRA 4TH -- SURNOMA ROSE
RENTRICE (S. Egan) jumped inwards.
INSPECTOR REX (J. King) didn’t handle the heavy track conditions in the middle stages of the event.
Race 3: ROONEYS STOCKCAMP SADDLERY CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m:
1st –BIG BERT 2nd – DEVIOUS MAN 3RD – ARETHUSA 4th – MAZOT
ILLUSIVE GAIL (D. Rewald) was slow to begin and showed no early speed, then shifted out at the 300m to gain clear running.
DEVIOUS MAN (R. Hancock) jumped away awkwardly.
ONE DAY (S. Egan) was slow to begin.
BIG BERT (S. Galvin) was slow to begin.
SPOTTED EAGLE (G. Steele) traveled wide for the majority of the event.
MAZOT (J. King) traveled wide from the 600m.
SIR IGER (R. Faehr) was under pressure the majority of the journey and was eased off heels at the 850m.
Race 4: COMMERCIAL HOTEL OPEN HANDICAP 1200m:
1st – LUCASAM 2nd – HUNTING LODGE 3RD -- WELL SATISFIED 4th – GUNS
SECRETS (S. Egan) was slow to begin.
HUNTING LODGE (J. King) jumped away awkwardly then traveled wide from the 600m.
LUCASAM (R. Faehr) was ridden aggressively in the opening stages of the event.
REIGNING TO WIN (R. Hancock) traveled wide for the majority of the event.
WELL SATISFIED (G. Steele) shifted out under pressure at the 200m.
Race 5: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB QTIS BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1600m:
1ST- TATYOON 2ND- STARBURST 3RD- WINDS ME UP 4TH- BELLESPY
STARBURST (D. Rewald) and TATYOON (R. Faehr) were both slow to begin.
DECLARE (G. Steele) traveled wide for the majority of the event and eased off A DEPENDANT (J. King) at the 600m.
CRAIGLEA RAWIE (R. Mules) traveled wide from the 600m.
RACE 6: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB OPEN HANDICAP 1600m:
1ST - DUAL ECHELON 2ND- ISSUES 3RD - CRAIGLEA PURSUIT 4TH- EQUITANT
GREYS A ROCKIN (R. Mules) was slow to begin and showed no early speed.
DAAD’S OVERTIME (S. Egan) was slow away.
CRAIGLEA PURSUIT (D. Rewald) was slow to begin.
DUAL ECHELON (G. Steele) hung in down the home straight and the jockey had to stop riding and straighten her mount.
