RACE 1: CLASS 5 HANDICAP – 1212M

CLASS 2: CLASS 1 HANDICAP – 1212M

MURPHY THE SURFIE dipped at the start. SHALICIA threw its head up on jumping away.

BAANYA’S BEST had to be steadied off the heels of MANPOZEST soon after the start.

MURPHY THE SURFIE shifted ground in the straight and brushed MANPOZEST.

The winner MANPOZEST was swabbed.

RACE 3: MAIDEN HANDICAP – 1090M

IT’S RAINING GOLD jumped awkwardly.

Jockey D. Gill reported to Stewards her front tooth was chipped by a stone thrown back during the race.

HUMBLY OURS jumped away awkwardly. Jockey P. Lindeberg, the rider of HUMBLY OURS, reported to Stewards that his left boot was torn on jumping away.

The winner DURAMBOI was swabbed.

RACE 4: OPEN HANDICAP – 1090M

SEATTLE ROCK was slowly away.

RACE 5: CLASS 3 HANDICAP – 1380M

CRAIGLEA WAY was restless in the barriers and sustained a cut to its mouth. FLASH FRED dwelt at the start.

Jockey T. Kruger, the rider of VALERE, was questioned by Stewards as to why her mount was not racing in a forward position compared to its recent starts. Jockey Kruger stated due to the pace of the race she was unable to have the horse racing close to the lead. Jockey Kruger’s explanation was noted.

The winner CRAIGLEA WAY was swabbed.
