SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS:

As apprentice Ms C Rogers was indisposed the stewards gave permission for the following replacements.

Race 2: BOLINDA TELLINDA – Apprentice L Dillon.
Race 3: CASH ALL OVER – Apprentice N Thomas.

Race 1: TOP ECHELON MAIDEN PLATE – 950M.
1st – SANSABA 2nd – RAW ABILITY 3rd – WENDY’S MEDICINE 4th – MY MANDOLIN

SAMSABA (S Drake) jumped out at the start making contact with MISS GEE VEE (L Dillon).

RED CONTESSA began awkwardly losing ground.

Shortly after the start WENDY’S MEDICINE (M Johnston) had to be steadied to avoid the heels of MY MANDOLIN (Z Landry) which was taken slightly by LADY HOUDINI (L Appo) and then commenced to race ungenerously for a short distance losing ground.

Leaving the 50m MORINGA’S GALLANT (B Kent) shifted in under hard riding bumping PERFECT GYPSY (R Morris), B Kent the rider of MORINGA’S GALLANT was advised to exercise more care in.



Race 2: HEAR AND SAY MAIDEN PLATE – 1100M.
1st – BOLINDA TELLINDA 2nd – SAHARA NOBLE 3rd – BEAU REGARD 4th – CLASSIC MOVIE

Apprentice B Kent the rider of FARMER’S FOLLEY was reprimanded when not being able to take advantage of his full claim.
At a further inquiry with his master Mr M Berlin, apprentice B Kent was instructed to adjust his riding weight to an obtainable weight and was not to take rides below that set weight.

FARMER’S FOLLEY (B Kent) was slow to begin.

BOLINDA TELLINDA (L Dillon) jumped out at the start making contact with ANICARA (C Small) becoming unbalanced and then shifting back in bumping FOREVER AVON (L Appo) which in turn shifted in brushing CRAIGLEA BUTCH (C Eaton).

At the 950m FOREVER AVON (L Appo) was inclined to hang in causing BOLINDA TELLINDA (L Dillon) to shift in and away, CRAIGLEA BUTCH (C Eaton) which was following had to be steadied to avoid that horses heels and shifted in slightly taking LITTLE LADY DANCER (N Thomas) in onto BEAU REGARD (R Morris) which in turn shifted in tightening the running of FARMER’S FOLLEY (B Kent) which became awkward and brushed the inside running rail.

Race 3: BREAKFAST CREEK CRICKET CLUB CLASS B H’CAP – 1650M.
1st – OUR JIM BEAU 2nd – SEMIFAIR 3rd – PETRIFIED 4th – GOLDEN SPICE

PETRIFIED (C Eaton) was slow to begin.

OUR JIM BEAU (J Sharp) jumped in at the start making heavy contact with GOLDEN SPICE (S Drake).

FLINDERS (M Manktelow) was inclined to hang out on the turn out of the straight.

PETRIFIED (C Eaton) raced wide in the early stages of the race.

Both SHARESK (R Hancock) and CASH ALL OVER (N Thomas) were obliged to race wide throughout the event.

Race 4: QRSE BANKSIA GREENS ESTATE CLASS 3 H’CAP – 1200M.
1st – BACKHAND 2nd – HOLISTIC 3rd – HELLENIC WARRIOR 4th – BRIGALOW SCRUB

SOMETHING FOR KATE (M Spriggs) was slow to begin.

HOLISTIC (M Manktelow) began awkwardly.

Both FOURAK LAD (S Galvin) and MRS CEE (L Karklis) were tightened for room at the start between HELLENIC WARRIOR (C Eaton) which jumped in and OUTBOARD (L Appo) which jumped out.

SOMETHING FOR KATE (M Spriggs) had to be steadied near the 250m when tightened for room between NOT A BLUNDER (S Bogenhuber) and FOURAK LAD (S Galvin) which shifted out, S Galvin the rider of FOURAK LAD was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground in similar circumstances.


MORINGA’S MERCURY (B Kent) was obliged to race wide throughout the event.

BACKHAND (J Sharp) balked at a brown patch of grass leaving the 50m losing momentum.

Race 5: BRONCOS LEAGUES CLUB CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1400M.
1st – RUSHWOOD 2nd – IMPRESSIVE ACE 3rd – MY MILLIONAIRE 4th – TIGER VISION

RUSHWOOD (J Sharp), JUMPER LEAD (R Morris) and ANTONIA ROSE (R Hancock) were all slow to begin.

MY MILLIONAIRE (M Bennet) jumped awkwardly and shifted out making contact with STAMUS PRO HONNEUR (N Thomas).

RUSHWOOD (J Sharp) over raced in the early stages of the event.

ANTONIA ROSE which was tailed off throughout the event was inspected by the clubs veterinary surgeon who reported the mare to be sore in both front feet, trainer T Hancock was advised a veterinary certificate of soundness would be required prior to the horses next start.
