Race 1: Daniel Morcombe QTIS Maiden Plate – 1050m

NATURAL SIGN – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.

CAUSE FOR JOY – Raced wide in the early stages.

OAKFIELD OPHELIA – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.

OODLESOO – Slow to begin and slow to muster speed.


Race 2: Trade Alliance Class 3 Plate – 1050m

OMISSION – Jumped awkwardly and shifted out, bumping another runner.

SHINER – Raced wide throughout.

TA RARA BOOM DE AY – Bumped at start.


Race 3: Genang Solutions/Lockyer Valley Traffic Management Class 3 Plate – 1100m

PRIVATE BENJAMIN – Fractious in the mounting yard prior to the race and dislodged rider. Trainer B. Robinson was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding's pre-race behaviour.

STEEL HARLEM – Reared as the start was effected, losing considerable ground. Trainer T. Hurley was advised the mare must obtain a further barrier certificate prior to next start.

TERETINA – Hung out rounding the turn at the 700m, becoming very awkward and losing ground.


Race 4: QPS Investment Group Class B Handicap – 1400m

ISADJOURNED – Slow to begin.

WARSHIP – Brushed the running rail when racing in restricted room to the inside of OUT OF CHARACTER (L. Williams). Jockey L. Williams was advised to exercise more care in future and allow sufficient room for runners to his inside.

OUT OF CHARACTER – Overraced in the early and middle stages.


Race 5: Immaculata Cup Benchmark 65 Handicap – 1400m

MIGHTYSUI – Raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 700m.

BELL'S EXPRESS – Shifted in abruptly at the 700m despite the efforts of its rider.

TRAPUNTO – Checked when tightened for room at the 700m.
