Race 5. S Richardson the rider of LINDNER GIRL was reprimanded for striking his horse with the whip in the forehand manner on 7 occasions prior to the 100m of the event.
From Warwick 26-12-09
Race 2. S Richardson the rider of SEQUISHA was fined $200 for striking his mount with the whip in the forehand manner on 8 occasions prior to the 100m.
Race 3. A Taylor the rider of NORSE INVADER was reprimanded for allowing her mount to shift in near the 100m when not sufficiently clear of DANCE TULIP (M Dorrington) which was forced to ease.
Race 4. S Bogenhuber the rider of WHAT A TALE was reprimanded for striking her mount with the whip in the forehand manner on 7 occasions prior to the 100m of the event.

As P Randall (injured), W Glass (personal reasons) and J Warrington (Indisposed) were all indisposed riding changes were made as per the Stewards Summary. P Randall was advised he would be required to obtain a medical certificate prior to next riding.
CAN’T BE TOLD was declared a Late Scratching by order of the Stewards at 11:55am after the horse was not brought to the races by its trainer. Stewards will interview trainer N King at a later date in relation to this incident.
RACE 1: THE WKH/ B&L GRAIN MAIDEN PLATE 1000M-
1st-Noblesse Oblige 2nd-Miss Condy 3rd-Marscays Edition 4th-High Praise
LA MAJEUR (C Bumstead) was slow to begin losing considerable ground. Stewards advised trainer J Hearne that LA MAJEUR would be required to obtain a further barrier certificate prior to next start.
MISS CONDY (L Appo) jumped out at the start hampering KENNY’S CASH (R Hancock) and MARSCAYS EDITION (S Bayliss).
MISS CONDY shifted wider on the track rounding the home turn.
RACE 2: THE DALBY NEWSPAPERS/ A&B GRAINS CLASS B H’CAP 1000M-
1ST-Norse Invader 2nd-Let’s Bouggie 3rd-Sisters In Crime 4th-Bita Sequalo
BARRAMUNDI (K Cross) was declared a late scratching by order of the Stewards at 2:10pm after the gelding dislodged its rider during the preliminary and galloped a considerable distance riderless. Stewards upon the declaration of correct weight ordered that all monies invested on BARRAMUNDI be refunded with deductions of 23 cents the win and 18 cents the place to apply.
TEKKE BOKHARA (R Kerwin) and EL VALIENTE (C Dixon) were both slow to begin.
BITO SEQUALO (S Bayliss) was hampered near the 300m when racing between TATTS ENOUGH (C Bumstead) and EL VALIENE which shifted out.

1ST-Mada 2nd-Tims Image 3rd-Amarocco Special 4th-Heza Outlaw
AMAROCCO SPECIAL (R Kerwin) was slow to begin.
COMETAPUPPA (S Egan) raced wide throughout and sifted wider on the track rounding the home turn.
T Banks the rider of DANISH DANDY was reprimanded for striking his mount with the whip in the forehand manner on 6 occasions prior to the 100m.
Post race veterinary inspection of COMETAPUPPA revealed the gelding to be sore in the off fore leg. Stewards advised trainer L Schwenke that COMETAPUPPA would require a veterinary certificate of soundness prior to next start.
RACE 4: THE PATRON’S TROPHY/BELLVIEW HOTEL CLASS 3 PLATE 1200M-
1st-Ocho Rios 2nd-Frisco Affair 3rd-Pampered Lass 4th-Let There Be Rock
PICAWILE (T Banks) jumped out at the start hampering OCHO RIOS (S Egan)
Shortly after the start LEEZEE (C Kearney) shifted out making contact with PAMPERED LASS (A Smith) which in turn shifted out making contact with WHISPERING GYPSY (L Appo).
Near the 600m, FRISCO AFFAIR (D McWhinney) shifted in crowding PICAWILE for room which was forced to shift out taking WHISPERING GYPSY wider on the track.
PICAWILE had a tendency to hang out during the early and middle stages.
LEEZEE raced ungenerously during the early and middle stages.
App. D McWhinney the rider of FRISCO AFFAIR was fined $400 for failing to weigh in as the 2nd place getter when required to do so.
RACE 5: THE MICK GLEESON MEMORIAL OPEN H’CAP 1400M-
1ST-All Stellar 2nd-Mount Vernon 3rd-I Dared 4th-Picworth
SCUDERIA (R Kerwin) was slow to begin.
POWER EXPRESS (C Kearney raced wide throughout.
ALL STELLAR (L Appo) shifted out rounding the home turn forcing MOUNT VERNON (B Wallace) wider on the track.
