Stewards accepted the explanation from a number of Trainers for the late notification of jockey’s for their runners at today’s meeting.

The following horses which competed at Birdsville meeting Friday 6th September 2014 were all examined by the Veterinary Surgeon prior to starting at today’s meeting and cleared to start.
Seide Track, Crystal Mates, Hidden Strategy, Plum Bob, Kev’s Destiny, Tenmoregrand, General Web, You and Me, I’m Desperate Too, Pippa’s Call, Shepherds Tale, Rhythm Nation, Zambezi Sun.

Race 7: Stewards acting under AR111A(1)(5)permitted the handicapper to adjust the allotted weight of Uniloki from 56kg to 57.5kg after the gelding had won at Roma on the 30 August 2014

Jockey W Kerford was fined the sum of $400 for using his whip in a forehand manner and in consecutive strides on more than 5 occasions prior to the 100m
