Race 1: MAIDEN PLATE 1050m


DON’T TELL JOAN - Slow to begin.

JOLLY GOOD OPTION - Slow to begin.

ELLE STYLE – Stood in the barriers and refused to jump. A post race veterinary exam revealed the mare to be sore in the lumber area. Trainer H Forster was advised the mare would be required to obtain two barrier certificates and a veterinary certificate prior to its next race.



Race 2: BACARDI CLASS 3 PLATE 1050m

The start of this race was delayed when COPY THIS was fractious in the barriers and became cast. COPY THIS was then removed from the barriers and underwent a veterinary examination after which it was declared a late scratching at 2:15pm by order of stewards acting on veterinary advice. All monies invested on COPY THIS were ordered to be refunded. Deductions applicable to bets placed on the winner and place-getters prior to 2:15pm.

Trainer H. Forster was advised COPY THIS must obtain a barrier certificate prior to its next race.

BLINKIN HASTY – Shifted out on jumping away bumping another runner.

ETERNO – Bumped on jumping away.

KEV’S DESTINY – Raced wide throughout.

RHYTHM NATION – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.



Race 3: BLACKALL IGA WEIGHT FOR AGE 1050m

STRATEGIC WEAPON – Shifted in on jumping away bumping another runner.

CHRYSTAL MATES – Tightened on jumping away.

SECRETS REVEALED - Tightened on jumping away. Hung out rounding the home turn.

REGAL PRINCE – Raced wide throughout.



Race 4: BARCOO BUTCHERY CLASS B HCP 1200m

NO INVOLVEMENT – Steadied at the 800m and lost ground.

TING TONG TIGER – Held up for clear running for the final 150m.



Race 5: BLACKALL MOTEL BENCHMARK 65 HCP 1400m

TAYSTAR – Raced wide throughout.

SPIRIT OF MANY - Raced wide throughout.

MY FLING – Approaching the 400m had to steady from heels.
