Race 1: CLASS B (1300 METRES)
1st VOLTURNUS 2nd VENNOM 3rd LEGAL DANCER 4th- CICERO MOUNTAIN

CICERO MOUNTAIN (R Hancock) began awkwardly.

VOLTURNUS (L Dillon) raced wide throughout and shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.

Race 2: BENCHMARK 65 (1200 METRES)
1st POWER TO EXCEED 2nd GREYWIN 3rd STREETFIRE CARE 4th- BOLTON ABBEY

BONNY THE VIPER (N Patchett) knuckled on jumping.

Shortly after the start BILLIE BLUE GUM (App G Steele) shifted in onto VONNY THE VIPER (N Patchett) forcing that runner into BOLTON ABBEY (App A Kitson) who in turn was taken inwards onto STREETFIRE (J Stephens) causing that runner to be tightened between BOLTON ABBEY and GETAWAY PLAN (App C Pye). Also BOLTON ABBEY checked outwards off STREETFIRE and lost ground.
As a result of the incident Apprentice Gemma Steele was issued with a reprimand and reminded of her obligations to keep her mount straight.

POWER TO EXCEED (L Dillon) and TOP MESSIAH (C McIver both raced wide throughout.




Race 3: OPEN HANDICAP (1200 METRES)
1st–DOWN ANOTHER TRACK 2nd – COCO LOCO 3rd JAMESON AICH

JAMESON AICH (App C Pye) was slow into stride.

No other racing incidents to report.

Race 4: CLASS 1 (950 METRES)
1st SUSPICIOUS MISS 2nd HER DIAMONDS 3rd ROSE OF TESSIE 4th – AMANDAS DREAM

YANNICKI (R Hancock) jumped outwards and bumped ROSE OF TESSIE (C McIver).
EMOTIONALLY YOURS (App G Steele) was extremely slow into stride.
KING TUDOR (App K Gates) raced wide early then failed to show any dash.
SUSPICIOUS MISS (L Dillon) shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.

Race 5: MAIDEN PLATE (950 METRES)
1st KIARA QUEEN 2nd NARIPSA 3rd HARDCOVER 4th- DEEKAYEL

Stewards met with club officials and it was decided to bring Race 5 forward 20 minutes to avoid oncoming storms.

On jumping DEEKAYEL (S McGovern) shifted in sharply and bumped heavily with
SOFTLEA (N Patchett) causing SOFTLEA to lose ground.
KIARA QUEEN (J Stephens) jumped outwards.
NARIPSA (App G Steele) jumped outwards and bumped SIR IGOR (R Hancock).
HARDCOVER (App A Kitson) jumped outwards and as consequence was slow into stride.
SOFTLEA (N Patchett) failed to show any early dash.
