Race 1: Enterprise Hotel, Zapps Retravision Maiden Plate – 800m
1st – FIRST TIME 2nd – EDENLINE 3rd – THUNDEROUSCLASSICS 4th – EXACERBATION

THUNDEROUSCLASSICS (App P.Edwards) was inspected by the club’s veterinary surgeon following the running of this event. No abnormalities were found.

Race 2: Charters Towers Steel Supplies, CJ Hairdressing
Class 2 Hcp – 800m
1st – SIR TOFF 2nd – KUAI 3rd – BEAUCAPPA 4th – ROUGAH

FLOATING NOISE (App P.Edwards) threw its head in the air and jumped outwards at the start onto ROUGAH (J.Long).

Jockey I.Fry was admonished for permitting his mount BEAUCAPPA to shift inwards when rounding the home turn and inconvenience the running of DIAMOND CROSSING (G.Cullen).

ROUGAH (J.Long) laid inwards over the final 50m of the event when placed under pressure

Race 3: Herbert Hall, Nortons Store, Adrian Bell Builders
Class B Handicap - 1000m
1st – MENORAH 2nd – LUCKY REIGN 3rd – PICNIC ON MARS 4th – PRINCESS JULIETTE

MENORAH (I.Fry) jumped awkwardly outwards as the start was effected.


Race 4: Bloom ‘N’ Beatiful, Charters Towers Furniture
Class 5 Handicap – 1000m
1st – HOT DICE 2nd – NASTY LION 3rd – FRENCH LORD 4th – SPEEDY AFFAIR

The saddle slipped on FRENCH LORD (W.Kenning) at about the 400m mark of the event which placed its rider in difficulty for the remainder of the event

Jockey G.Cullen was admonished for allowing his mount CHARLEE BUKIT to shift inwards under pressure over the final stages and make contact with FRENCH LORD (W.Kenning)

Race 5: Titley’s & Co Class 3 Plate – 1200m
1st – SUPERSUB 2nd – SLUGGER 3rd – DANCE AVENUE 4th – MOTEUR LISSE
