RACE 1: WESTERN AUTO ELECTRICAL’S CLASS 5 H’CAP - 1100m

HE’S A KWILA jumped in coming into heavy contact with CHIEF SALIERI.

STEFAMA blundered at the start and raced ungenerously through out the race.

LAURIE’S ANGLE, which was slow away, was inclined to hang in during the early stages of the race.

RACE 2: CHARLIE WYATT’S CLASS 1 H’CAP - 1100m

ARKY BLUE slow away.

Leaving the 800m PUT ME IN LUXURY had to be eased from the heels SILVER AZURE which rolled in marginally.

At approximately the 700m HULAKAI shifted out abruptly when insufficiently clear of GOLD MINER’S DREAM resulting in GOLD MINER’S DREAM having to check severely after clipping the heels of HULAKAI, Jockey D Hutchins the rider of HULAKAI was found guilty of a Careless Riding charge and was suspended for 7 meetings to commence midnight the 23/03/2002 and to expire midnight the 03/04/2002.

GOLD MINER’S DREAM returned to the enclosure with a laceration to its off side front pastern.


RACE 3: WORS’S CLASS 3 H’CAP - 800m

SUGARS blundered at the start.

Rounding the home turn RAW AND RACY shifted out coming into contact with MING SPECIAL who has then rolled out coming into contact with BAY WATCH BABE.

RACE 4: ROY BIGNELL’S MAIDEN H’CAP – 800m

DANZAMINK was squeezed out at the start when WHAT A FIGHTER jumped out and SILVER FEATHER jumped in.

On the home turn STRIGHT AFFAIRE hung out forcing SHEER FRIGHT wider on the track.

SECRET KSAR raced extremely wide rounding the home turn and down the running.

RACE 5: CWRC COMMITTEE’S OPEN H’CAP – 800m

Approaching the 500m TRENDY GUY had to eased from the heels of PALACE GRANT who had been taken in marginally by ACE RULE.

At approximately 60m from the finish ACE RULE rolled in forcing BANTANA BOY to switch to the inside.
