Prior to the commencement of the meeting Stewards were notified that Jockey A Lane was not riding due to personal reasons and he was replaced as per summary sheet .



RACE 1 WESTERN AUTO ELECTRICAL MAIDEN – 1000M 1st DANCE FOR BINDY 2ND GOT THE POWER 3RD KIPCHOGE 4TH GUEST OF HONOUR

Mystery Man was declared a late scratching at 12-35pm as there was no Jockey available to take the mount .

COASTAL SAND ( D McMASTER) blundered as the start was effected and dislodged the rider. Jockey D McMaster was treated by the Clubs Medical Officer and Taken to Hospital for X-Rays.
Stewards will open an Inquiry into the incident at a time and date to be fixed.

Shortly after the start ZASU DANCER ( C ROGERS) commenced to lay out and continued to do so until the 800m turn .As a result of this SARA STREET ( J BAKER) was taken wider rounding the 8oom turn .

ZEDRAH( APP I FRENCH ) was slow to begin .








RACE 2 QLD CANCER COUNCIL ENTRANT –
DENYSE ALEXANDER ‘S HANDICAP CLASS 1- 1000M

1st EAGLE OWL 2ND I’M A SEQUALO 3RD BARCOO GEORGE 4TH SIR SOMETHING


ZED STREET ( C BUMSTEAD ) blundered on jumping away and shifted out hampering MISS ROSANNA (C BRYEN) NICKELBACK (D BAKER) jumped away awkwardly.
SIR SOMETHING(C BAKER ) and EVADING ( C ROGERS ) were both slow to begin .

Approaching the 800m turn EAGLE OWL (D MONAGHAN )became unbalanced and raced ungenerously for a short distance .

At the 200m I’M A SEQUALO (D REWALD ) shifted out and brushed ZED STREET


RACE 3 BOOKMAKERS CLASS 6 PLATE ----1000M 1ST KING CORONA 2ND REVECHE 3RD CLASSICUS 4TH STARS WILL DANCE

A pre race veterinary inspection passed HAPPILY EVERAFTER to take it’s place in the field .

At the start HAPPILY EVERAFTER ( APP I FRENCH )jumped in the air as the start was effected losing ground.
HEYA PAL (C BRYEN ) jumped out at the start .
CLASSICUS ( W GLASS ) was slow into stride.
Approaching the home turn REVECHE ( C ROGERS) shifted out taking CLASSICUS wider on the track .


RACE 4 JOE BRYAN& BRUCE ELMES CLASS 3 -1200M 1st FALLGUY 2ND DANCING BABY 3RD SRITINYA 4TH DECANT

FLARE UP (R BELLERT) jumped in at the start hampering BLUE OSIER ( C BRYEN ) which was slow .

TRISTRAM’S TRUCE ( J BAKER ) was slow into stride .
At the start SUPERIOR AUTHORITY ( W GLASS ) began awkwardly


RACE 5 PRESIDENT’S HANDICAP --800M
1st PITTAPADDY 2ND BLUE COUGAR 3RD CENTATEL 4TH BON HERITAGE.

EXPRESS FORCE was declared a late scratching at 3-30pm by the Stewards as there was not suitable rider available .

POLISH WARRIOR ( APP. I FRENCH ) began awkwardly.
BON HERITAGE blundered at the start and lost ground .

Over the final 100m of the event CENTATEL ( D BAKER ) shifted in resulting in SWEEP TO VICTORY ( C BUMSTEAD )having to alter course inwards .
Jockey C Bumstead was fined the sum of $ 50-00 for failing to weigh in for fifth place. AR 142
