Race 1: Super Amino 66 Maiden Plate Distance –.1250m.

1st Lioness Star 2 nd – Tactical Star 3rd – Mr. Leonardo 4th- Flying Ruscay

Jockey D Dean reported that he would be over weight on Mr. Leonardo and was replaced by J Stopps. Dodgy Dodge was difficult to places in the starting stalls,
Mr. F Wieland, trainer of the gelding was instructed to improve it’s barrier behavior before starting again. Young Dub (L Nelson) attempted to pig-root as it left the starting stalls, trainer Ms. A Cooper was informed that a warning would be placed on the horse and that a repeat of it’s actions could lead to more severe action being taken.
Soondhari (K Rocket) was slow into stride. Rene ( Ms. P D’Addona) raced wide from the 700m. position. Mr. Leonardo ( J Stopps) over raced and ran around in the middle stages of the race.

Race 2 – Lennon Cairns Accountants Class 5 Handicap Distance – 1400m.
1st - Super Slider 2nd - Luberon 3rd - Quaytman 4th. You Be The Judge

You Be The Judge (I Toward) was marginally slow into galloping action.
Flag returned to scale with blood in one nostril, the gelding was keep under veterinary observation and an analytical specimen was taken.

Race 3: Minavite QTIS Class B Handicap Distance—1000m.
1st - Maya Magic 2nd - Trickswithmirrors 3rd - Hilly 4th- Let’s Twist Again

Jockey Ms, P D’Addona was indisposed and was replaced as rider of Yakka Yakka by K Rockett. Lucky Twister (F Edwards) knuckled over on leaving the starting stalls. At the 600m. position Brassanova ( G kliese) raced erratically and moved out on to Lucky Twister (F Edwards) At the 300m. position Yakka Yakka ( K Rockett) moved out making light contact with She Can Cha Cha (K Brady), shortly after that incident Marilyn’s Magic (I Toward) angled out to obtain a run and made contact with YakkaYakka causing that horse to be tightened for room between Marilyn’s Magic and She Can Cha Cha. In issuing a severe reprimand to Jockey I Toward for allowing his mount to make contact with Yakka Yakka the stewards took into consideration the fact that Trickswithmirrors (J Stopps) which was travelling ahead of Marilyn’s Magic was moving around slightly.

Race 4: Hawko’s Rough TripTour Class 2 Handucap Distance – 1250m.

1st. Mr. Jacobs 2nd - Whatsatwatonville 3rd Framework 4th-.Nathan’s Command

K Brady replaced Ms. P D’Addona. who was indisposed, as rider of Rockets Of Gold. L Nelson, who was indisposed with cramp, was replaced as rider of Mr. Jacobs by Ms.D Armstrong.Mr. Jacobs was fractious and reared in the barrier stalls.
In New York (R Ryan) raced wide negotiating the 900m. turn.

Race 5 – Cooltecq Open Handicap Distance – 1250m.

1st. Bicarb 2nd - Stoney Planet 3rd – Carbon Gold 4th- Karamazou

Silverstein was ridden by Ms. K Penrose, and Mongke by J Stopps replacing indisposed riders. Silverstein raced wide at the 900m, position.
