Leaving the 1000 metres Uno Marjo raced in restricted room for some distance when racing inside of Go Win (M Paget) which was hanging in. Jaded (P Spry) which raced greenly throughout was held up for clear running approaching the home turn, shifted out on the home turn coming into contact with Go Win. Time off 12.42 pm.
