WEATHER – FINE TRACK – GOOD RAIL – TRUE

RACE 1: SCOTT KING/TERRY McGOVERN QUEENSLAND COUNTRY INSURANCE MAIDEN PLATE H'CAP – 1200m

DARBONNAIRE, KING RUBITON and STARIROSE were slow to begin.

DUNEDIN FLYER raced ungenerously during the early stages.

Connections of STARIROSE, which hung out from the 700m onwards, were advised that a warning would be placed on that filly.

DUNEDIN FLYER was held up for clear running approaching the home turn.

Leaving the 300m, LADY MINDEN, which was tiring, shifted out hampering NOBLE REWARD, which had been held up for clear running, across the heels of MADAME SEQUETTE. D Gill the rider of LADY MINDEN was advised to exercise more care.


RACE 2: COLONIAL FIRST STATE CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1000m

Both WARNING SWITCH and MY DAD’S MIGHTY were hampered on jumping between COUNTESS EXPRESS, which was forced in by KULAK and JEWEL OF THE RANCH, which was forced out by ALSSANCE.

CALL ME ARTIE was held up for clear running approaching the home turn.

RACE 3: SPRING FAIR COMMITTEE/SAINTS CLASS D H'CAP – 1400m

ROMAN OMEN shifted out on jumping hampering SIMONCELLO.

HANGING BASKET was slow to begin.

UNATTAINABLE, which was slow to begin was forced to ease from heels leaving the 700m.

Approaching the 1200m, NEGATIVE CARRY shifted in hampering HANGING BASKET.

PRINCESS FIONA was held up making the home turn behind the tiring ILSOBAR.

HANGING BASKET was held up for some distance making the home turn behind the tiring EUREKA STORM.

LUDLOW LAD was slightly held up making the home turn.
RACE 4: LRK WALKERS FLYING H'CAP – 1200m

NOUVEAU RICHE was slow to begin.

RACE 5: CUNNINGHAM STREET NEWS/FRANK LAVERTY MEMORIAL CLASS 3 H'CAP – 1100m

RADIOACTIVE STAR was tightened for room on jumping between COUNTY SPIRIT and AVON WALTZ, which shifted out.

Shortly after the start RADIOACTIVE STAR, which was racing fiercely, was forced to ease slightly when attempting a run where there was insufficient room between SLASHING LOOKS and DANGER SPICE, which shifted out. RADIOACTIVE STAR continued to race fiercely through out.

Both THE ADVY and JUST SCRUMPTIOUS raced wide from the 700m onwards.

SLASHING LOOKS shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages hampering RADIOACTIVE STAR.
