CLIFTON 25-10-08.
RACE 1
Stewards today concluded an inquiry into the reasons why Jockey G Lynch became unbalanced and partially dislodged at the 1200m and then falling nearing the 1100m in Race 1 –Crompton Racing Maiden . After taking evidence from all riders involved and Jockey G Lynch, Stewards concluded that no fault could be attributed to any rider and that the incident was due to a gear failure, namely the near side stirrup leather, which broke at the critical point in the race as Jockey Lynch was attempting to ease his mount thus causing Jockey Lynch to become unbalanced and falling at the 1100m .
Stewards closed the inquiry.



CLIFTON RACE 4 STOCK YARD GRAINS MAIDEN PLATE
Stewards today concluded an inquiry into an incident in Race 4 at Clifton on the 25-10-08 in which CHEEKY REBEL (G BUTLER ) shifted out abruptly, approaching the 150m , making heavy contact with Swift Decision (B Powell ) which was severely checked and taken out on to Siong Tee ( L McCOY ) which was also checked and lost ground .Sialo (M O’BRIEN ) and SPIN KAT (J WOOD ), which were racing to the outside were also inconvenienced in this incident.
Stewards after taking evidence from all Jockeys involved ,Stewards evidence and the patrol film, Stewards found App G Butler guilty of careless riding under AR137(a) and had his license to rode in races suspended for a period of 9 meetings (midnight 4-11-08 up to and including midnight 16-11-08 )
.

Stewards also reprimanded Jockey B Powell for allowing his mount to shift out rounding the 250m turn and tightening the running of SIONG TEE AR137(a).

Stewards closed the inquiry.




RACE 1 – DALBY LEAGUES CLUB MDN. PLTE .-1200M
1ST SPEED CRAZY 2ND LUJAZZI 3RD NOBLE KIN 4TH LOLALEE

HUDSONS HORNET (S WRIGHT ) has jumped out making contact with LOLALEE (G BUTLER ) which was slow to begin .
COUNT SYLVESTER (C DIXON ) and NOBLE KIN (B POWELL ) made contact on jumping away .
TOUCH WOOD (D MO ) has jumped out taking PHERE THE DUST (P RANDALL ) wider on the track .

Shortly after the start OTUPAE LASS (J LETHERBY ) was hampered when BULLOO MISS (K YOSHIDA ) has rolled in

Approaching the 1000m LUJAZZI (D EVANS ) was steadied when tightened for room by BULLOO MISS which was taken in by SPEED CRAZY ( G THOMSON ).
Stewards opened an inquiry into the incident and subsequently reprimanded Jockey G Thompson for allowing her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear .AR137(a)

Rounding the home turn BULLOO MISS was steadied and forced wider on the track when OTUPAE LASS has shifted ground outwards. Stewards opened an inquiry into this incident and subsequently reprimanded App J Letherby for allowing his mount to shift ground when insufficiently clear .AR 137(a)

LUJAZZI has lay out over the concluding stages of the event






RACE 2 – SANDALWOOD FEEDLOT CLS. 2 HCP.- 1400M
1ST JONNY AUCASH 2ND SHEEZA DRAMA 3RD RIN TIN 4TH RORYS RAPPER.

GROUND SWELL (S BOGENHUBER ) and SHEEZA DRAMA(R HINRICKS ) made contact on jumping away .
BACK WASH BETTY ( D EVANS) jumped out at the start tightening SONG OF UMBRIA (D LLAMBIAS ).
TUNE UP TUESDAY ( B POWELL ) was slow to begin and then raced wide from the 800m to rounding the home turn .
GROUND SWELL lay in over the final 200m of the event .
SPRING MAMBO( N EVANS ) was under pressure from the 500m and failed to run on over the concluding stages .



RACE 3- DOWNS SERIES CLASS 6 PLTE.- 1400M
1ST DEGENA 2ND LAERTES 3RD FLYING SQUAW 4TH RULES FOR LIFE

DEGENA (D MO ) was slow to begin
PICWORTH (S APTHORPE ) and FAIR ACE ( R HINRICKS ) were both tightened for room at the start by RULES FOR LIFE (D EVANS ) which jumped out and LAERTES ( L McCOY ) which jumped in .
Approaching the 500m BUCKS CHARM (J McKINNON ) improved to the inside of REGAL CHARMER (D LLAMBIAS ) then had to be steadied and lost ground when tightened for room when REGAL CHARMER rolled in .
REGAL CHARMER then raced wide rounding the home turn .

RACE 4 – ZONTA INTERNATIONAL CLS. B HCP.- 1200M
1ST ANY WONDER 2ND DANCING BENI 3RD SOFIE FATALE 4TH MONALEAH

DANCING BENI (D LLAMBIAS ) reared as the start was effected and lost ground .

MONALEAH ( L DUGGAN ) and BON COUP FILLE ( K YOSHIDA ) were both slowly into stride .
DANE SAHARA ( G BUTLER ) and WATCHIM (C DIXON ) made contact on jumping away
SHEER ROBBERY (D EVANS ) lay out over the final stages of the event .


RACE 5 – MARY BARRY MBE. CLASS 3 – 1000M
1ST GALLANT PILOT 2ND LUKES BID 3RD KOOMERANG TOO 4TH GOLD ROOM

FLASH CHARIOT(L McCOY) was slow to begin .

Nearing the 400m LUKES BID (D MO ) lost ground for no apparent reason ,then raced wide rounding the home turn .





ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED .
