WEATHER – FINE TRACK - FAST RAIL - OUT 5.5M ALL TRACK

RACE 1: STAGAMES H'CAP - 1350M
NO INCIDENTS
RACE 2: CLUB LIQUOR H'CAP - 1640M
PEDRO’S GALLANTE was slow to begin.
Leaving the 1400m SEA BREEZE got its head up and raced ungenerously for a short distance due to the slow pace.
RACE 3: PAYNTER DIXON H'CAP - 1200M
At the 800m SIR PAK commenced to overrace and struck the heels of BROC ‘N’ ROLL. The Club's veterinary surgeon reported that BROC ‘N’ ROLL sustained small lacerations to the outside of the off hind cannon and fetlock and to the inside of the near hind pastern.
RACE 4: INTERNATIONAL GAMING TECHNOLOGY H'CAP - 1350M
As D Wheeler was indisposed, N Day was substituted as the rider of HAIL ROCKET.
After initially being taken out by ANIMATE at the 250m, ROMANZA was then inclined to lay in behind that horse.
RACE 5: WYNNUM MANLY LEAGUES CLUB H'CAP - 2200M
Leaving the 100m CABERNET ROAD was hampered when tightened for room between WHAT A MESS and BOLDON. Whilst it was established that WHAT A MESS had shifted in slightly, A Morrison, the rider of BOLDON, was severely reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift out significantly whilst being ridden with the whip.
RACE 6: JUPITERS GAMING H'CAP - 1110M
CHENAR began very awkwardly and knuckled over. In this incident CHENAR lost its off fore plate and sustained abrasions to its off fore cannon.
MIGHT AND GOLD was began very awkwardly and knuckled over.
When questioned D Griffin was unable to provide any explanation for the poor performance of ROBBITE but stated that the gelding failed to stretch out properly during the event. A subsequent veterinary examination of ROBBITE failed to reveal any abnormality. A swab sample was taken from the gelding.

Trainer R Heathcote was also at a loss to explain ROBBITE’s performance, stating that the stable had preferred the gelding’s chances over its stablemate CHENAR. Mr Heathcote indicated that he intended to have blood tests performed on ROBBITE and would advise stewards of the results.
RACE 7: CARLTON & UNITED SUPER QRIS ADDED STAKES H'CAP - 1350M
DISTINCTLY hung out from the 600m.
ERIC and POWER VISION were held up for clear running from the 400m until the 200m where ERIC shifted in slightly, tightening POWER VISION on to MR. NEWSAGENCY. POWER VISION continued to race in restricted room until after passing the 100m.
RACE 8: ARISTOCRAT LEISURE INDUSTRIES H'CAP - 1640M
NO INCIDENTS
ALL WINNERS AND ROBBITE WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
