EINASLEIGH RACE CLUB STEWARDS REPORT MONDAY 12/4/04

RACE 1: CLASS 1 HANDICAP – 1370 Metres – 5 Starters
A malfunction of the photo finish equipment necessitated a manual judging of the finish.
As the gates opened DASHING RAJ (J Stopps) jumped inwards causing BADILLA BELLE to be tightened for room.

RACE 2: OPEN HANDICAP – 1370 Metres – 4 Starters
HOTENTOT (M Seagren) dwelt in the stalls when the gates opened and lost ground.

RACE 3: CLASS 3 HANDICAP – 1220 Metres – 5 Starters
Negotiating the home turn, BLUE ALL OVER (M Seagren) shifted out when attempting to take a run and made contact with SCARVILLE (J Stopps). Jockey M Seagren was reminded of her obligations to racing safety.

RACE 4: CLASS 3 HANDICAP – 1620 Metres – 5 Starters
MY ENTHUSIASMM (s Roos) raced ungenerously for the first 900 metres.

RACE 5: CLASS 5 HANDICAP – 1220 Metres – 4 Starters
The handicapper was given permission by the Stewards to rectify a typographical error in respect to the weight allocated to DASHING RAJ, under the terms of AR111A(1). DASHING RAJ (J Stopps) was slow into galloping action.

RACE 6: CLASS 2 HANDICAP – 1220 Metres – 5 Starters
In respect of winning race 3 MIGHTY KNIGHT became ineligible for this race and was withdrawn by the Stewards. SCARVILLE was inspected by the course Veterinary Surgeon and declared fit to run.
