WEATHER: Overcast TRACK: Good


RACE 1 MAIDEN HCP. 1200 METRES (6 STARTERS): At the start HAZY FALCON (A. Williams) jumped inwards making contact with AZIZA PEAK (J. Stephens). Shortly after this AZIZA PEAK shifted outwards forcing HAZY FALCON out resulting in MISS EXCLUSIVE being hampered.

At the 800 metres GREY’S GIFT commenced to race fiercely.

Approaching the 500 metre CARLTON LASS (T. Williams) had to be steadied off the heels of TURRAMURRA BOY.

RACE 2 CLASS 4 HCP. 1200 METRES (8 STARTERS): At the start ANOTHER BEN (D. Lloyd) jumped outwards making contact with HI ZEFFA (A. Williams) which in turn shifted outwards bumping MOJO RISING (J. Stephens) which resulted in ?????(J. Oakes) getting hampered.

Shortly after this ANOTHER BEN shifted back in resulting in LITTLE INDIAN (W. Welburn) having to be steadied.



RACE 3 CLASS 6 HCP. 1300 METRES (7 STARTERS): JETTING (NZ) (G. Bell) was slow to muster early speed.



RACE 4 OPEN HCP. 1000 METRES (9 STARTERS): INTERIM (D. Lloyd) was obliged to steady when crowded for room by POP’S VINTAGE (A. Williams) which shifted out under pressure. A. Williams the rider of POP’S VINTAGE was advised to exercise care when placed in similar circumstances.

RACE 5 CLASS 2 HCP.1000 METRES (7 STARTERS): Nothing to report.

BOOKMAKERS: Two (2) bookmakers fielded at the race meeting.

SWABBING: Winners of races 1,2,3 & 4 were sent to be swabbed and the samples collected were forwarded to the Racing Science Centre for routine analysis.
