WEATHER – FINE TRACK – GRASS - Dead RAIL – TRUE
GENERAL
Advice was received that trainer W Trimble was delayed due to wet weather which necessitated the scratching of ROAD TO DARWIN (Race 1), THUNDER AND ROSES (Race 2) and KWILBET (Race 3).
RACE 1: MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M
YARRAMIN NURI (G Bell) fractious in the stalls and rearing.
STARS ON TIME (S Quick) was fractious in the boxes and got its head over the gates causing a small cut to the chin.
BELLA BANDITO (B Appo) returned to scale slightly distressed.
The saddle slipped sideways on YARRAMIN NURI over the concluding stages giving G Bell an uncomfortable ride.
RACE 2: CLASS 4 – 1000M
CROAT RED (C Bryen) slipped as the gates opened losing ground. When questioned regarding his mid-race tactics C Bryen stated that the horse was not handling the rain-affected track. His explanation was noted.
RACE 3: CLASS B HANDICAP – 1100M

RACE 4: OPEN H'CAP – 1300M
M Goodwin failed to arrive on course and was replaced by B Appo on YOUTHFUL LODGER.
MR. MERRY LOVE (C Bryen) shifted out in the straight coming into contact with GENTEEL BOY (R Graham). C Bryen was reprimanded.
RACE 5: CLASS ‘A’ H'CAP – 1300M
M Goodwin failed to arrive and was replaced by S Quick on SOLAR DANCER. M Goodwin to be contacted regarding failure to attend the meeting.
