Race 1: Bill Davis Memorial/Allison Robinson Family QTIS Maiden Plate – 1000m
1st – BARRAMUNDI, 2nd – SEQUALORA, 3rd – BECAUSE I AM, 4th – LYONS ROYALE

PET PUPIL (App.A Badger) jumped away awkwardly.
RUNNING FOR ROSES (App C Preist) was slowly away.
Jky L Appo the rider of BUCHANAN BOY lost the right iron on jumping away losing ground.
Approaching the 300m. SEQUALORA (D Gill) improved onto heels of CHERRY ON TOP (L McCoy) and was eased.
BARRAMUNDI (App K James) and SEQUALORA shifted ground rounding home turn and raced wide in the straight.
BUCHANAN BOY stood on Jky L Appo’s right foot when dismounting after the event. Jky Appo was examined by the ambulance attendant and cleared to ride.
Jky D Gill the rider of SEQUALORA requested to view the video footage in the straight prior to declaration of correct weight. After viewing the film Jky D Gill declined to lodge an objection.

The winner BARRAMUNDI was swabbed.


Race 2: Neville Gordon Memorial Class 3 Plate – 1000m.
1st – HAIZUM, 2nd – ASITUATION, 3rd – BUDDHA BABE, 4th – BADAS

Shortly after the start BADAS (App C Preist) was tightened between ASITUATION (C Kearney) and HAIZUM (App A Badger).
OUTONHEROWN (B Powell) and BADAS shifted ground in the home turn.

The winner HAIZUM was swabbed.


Race 3: LJ Hooker/Gayndah Motors Class B Hcp – 1200m.
1st –CHILLABUNDY, 2nd – STORM BUCK, 3rd – BERRIMA BOOGGIE, 4th – REAL WORLD

QUEEN OF THE STORM (D Gill) jumped away awkwardly making heavy contact with PATTON (L Appo) resulting in PATTON losing ground.

QUEEN OF THE STORM raced wide throughout.
BERRIMA BOOGGIE (App C Preist) was held up for clear running from the 200m until the 100m.

The winner CHILLABUNDY was swabbed.


Race 4: Avance Condon Gayndah Cup Open Hcp – 1400m.
1st I DARE, 2nd – MOUNT VERNON, 3rd – AFLEET BOY, 4th – FLYING SQUAW

Rounding home turn HENAVARI (S Bayliss) dipped slightly.

The winner I DARE was swabbed.


Race 5: Burnett View Citrus Class 1 Hcp – 1400m.
1st –QUEENOFTHEROCKIES, 2nd- SO LONG, 3rd – FREEBOOTERS, 4th – SAMANTHA’S JEWELL

Stewards adjourned an inquiry to a time and date to be decided into the scratching of FAST HORSE. Neither the Club or the Stewards were advised of the Scratching at as a result declared FAST HORSE a late scratching at 3.42pm prior to any betting commencing.

The winner QUEENOFTHEROCKIES was swabbed.
