For some distance rounding the home turn and entering the home straight HYSTERICAL BOSS, which was inclined to lay in, shifted in on several occasions making heavy contact with WESTBROOK DOT COM on at least two occasions. Whilst Stewards were of the view that the racing manners of HYSTERICAL BOSS had not helped the situation, nevertheless A. In all the circumstances of this particular case the Stewards were of the view that the appropriate penalty be that T. PATTILLO be fined the sum of $500.00.
RACE 4 – JIM BEAM BLACK HANDICAP – 1300 METRES
After being slow away TIGER YEATS had to be steadied off the heels of JOEL’S EXPRESS which shifted in.

After considering submissions made by M. BENNETT the Stewards felt some doubt existed as to whether the charge could be sustained, therefore the Stewards gave M. BENNETT the benefit of the doubt and decided not to proceed with the charge.
Rounding the home turn SPUN was reluctant to hold its position on the fence and as a result shifted out across the heels of JOEL’S EXPRESS, subsequently having to be checked.
