Near the 100 metres SHOPPING shifted out abruptly and made contact with JEST GREAT.
When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of DANCE ‘N’ SWAY today Jockey A. COWIE explained that his intentions were to take up a forward position however, his mount jumped awkwardly and got further back than he would have liked. He said that when he commenced to put his mount under pressure leaving the 800 metres the filly continued to hang out and that he was on one reign down the home straight. A Veterinary examination of DANCE ‘N’ SWAY revealed no obvious abnormality and was sent to be swabbed.
Mr B. Hill the representative for Trainer G. Ryan was advised that DANCE ‘N’ SWAY would be required to compete in a barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before it is permitted to race again.

When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of HIDDEN CAMERA N. JOLLY stated that his mount travelled well during the run however, when putting his mount under pressure coming to the home turn it failed to respond. A Veterinary examination of HIDDEN CAMERA revealed signs of respiratory distress and scalping wounds to the off hind pastern. The filly was also sent to be swabbed. Trainer A.
