SUPPLEMENTARY:
Following Race 8 Stewards determined a betting dispute between Ms S Galvin and Parlay 888 as to the price displayed for ANGEL’S DESTINY prior to Race 8. Ms Galvin alleged that Parlay 888 had displayed a price of $6 when she attempted to place a wager. Parlay 888 disputed that claim on the basis that $4.60 was advertised when Ms Galvin attempted to place the wager. After considering all the evidence and interviewing Mr D Preindl, a clerk representing Parlay 888, stewards could not be satisfied that the price of $6 had been displayed at the relevant time and therefore took no further action.
