She added that when attempting to restrain the gelding passing the 800m, it was inclined to get its head up and hang out during the middle states of the race. T. Harrison further stated that, in her opinion, AQUATOR may have chocked down during the race, resulting in it failing to finish the race off as expected. Trainer’s representative Mrs N. Tanti stated that based on its trial following its last start disappointing performance at Eagle Farm, the stable had expected a forward showing. Mrs Tanti added that AQUATOR had been inclined to overrace in its work and agreed that its racing manners today may have contributed to the disappointing performance.
