RACING
RACE 1 MAIDEN HCP. 1000 METRES - (6 STARTERS):. Trainer Lyn Horstman was granted permission by stewards to race MANOR’S DAUGHTER in blinkers.

YARPOLE (S. Newton) was slow away.

At approximately the 400 metres DEITY (M. Barnham) shifted inwards slightly brushing NED’S SUGGESTIONS (B. Appo).

MANOR’S DAUGHTER raced wide in the home straight.

RACE 2 OPEN HCP. 850 METRES - (4 STARTERS):. No racing incidents to report.

RACE 3 CLASS 3 HCP. 1517 METRES - (5 STARTERS): HIGH POWERED (S. Quick) dipped on jumping.

RACE 4 CLASS 5 HCP. 1000 METRES - (5 STARTERS): NO CHELONA (W. Tomsett) jumped awkwardly.

RITUAL LADY (W. Schmidt) resented the sand being thrown back from the front runners and as a result raced awkwardly from the 600 metres to the 400 metres.

RACE 5 CLASS 2 HCP. 1000 METRES – (7 STARTERS): WISKEY BOY (W. Schmidt) was slow away.

BOOKMAKERS: Four bookmakers fielded at the race meeting.

SWABBING: All winners were sent to be swabbed and those obtained forwarded to the Racing Science Centre for routine analysis.
