LEEMACELLE was slow away and was affected by sand in the face. Performed poorly finishing a distant last.

Upon returning to scale C McIver, the rider of the second horse across the line PROVOCATIVE MISS, lodged a protest against the first horse across the line SQUEEZE ME PLEASE alleging interference on the home turn and in the straight. After taking evidence from all parties, viewing the video and on their own observations stewards dismissed the protest.
