Race 1: Central Qld Petroleum Class 3 Plate- 1194 metres

RHINO- Stood awkwardly in the barrier and was slow to begin.

ROUGH AND RECKLESS- Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.

FALCONER- Raced wide throughout.

Race 2: Carly- Mae Pye BM 55 Handicap- 1000 metres

BOTH EARS- Jumped out abruptly and when attempted to be corrected, raced ungenerously and threw its head in the air and shifted out further. Warning placed on its manners. Trainer advised he will freshen the mare up prior to its next start.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH- Shortly after the start, clipped heels and blundered when another runner shifted out.

RUN EM RAGGED- Shortly after the start, taken outwards.

RIO VISTA- Shortly after the start, tightened between runners, steadied and lost ground.

DAILY PLANET- Raced wide throughout.

STREETFIRE- Raced wide throughout.

Race 3: Gladstone Cinemas QTIS Maiden Plate- 1000 metres

When Jockey A Coome was to be overwight on SHARDAROBA and due to no other available rider, he was permitted to ride half a kilogram overweight. Jockey Coome was fined $100 (AR 120(b))

ROUGH AND RECKLESS- Underwent a veterinary inspection following its engagement in Race 1 and was permitted to start.

CITISHADOW- Slow to begin and raced wide throughout.

MONTO CERVINO- Slow into stride and raced wide throughout. Rider reported that near the 700 metres, he struck the filly with the whip to improve, shifted in and had to be steadied from the heels of another runner.

Race 4: Top Produce BM 75 Handicap- 1000 metres

VELONSKI- Began awkwardly, made contact with another runner and lost some ground.

BLAZE TO FORTUNE- Jumped in and made contact with another runner.

BASE JUMP- Contact with another runner at the start.

DESERT PLAYBOY- Jockey S McCullum pleaded guilty to a charge under AR 137(b) in that he failed to ride his mount out to the end of the race. With the margin being a short head , Stewards were of the opinion DESERT PLAYBOY had been denied 4th placing. Jockey McCullum was fined $200.

Race 5: Lily Hair Class B Handicap- 1517 metres

REDWIN- Slow to begin and raced wide throughout.

WONGARANDA- Began awkwardly.

CRAIGLEA COPPER- Slow into stride and raced wide in the early stages.

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED
