RACE 1: B & S COMMITTEE CLASS 2 H'CAP – 1000M

After being loaded REGAL FLIGHT became fractious in the barriers, rearing and when being backed out of the barriers, injuring jockey M Richard’s foot. REGAL FLIGHT was a late scratching acting on starters advice, at 1:45pm. Trainer K Bell was advised that REGAL FLIGHT would be required to pass a barrier test prior to re-nominating. On announcement of correct weight stewards ordered all the money invested on REGAL FLIGHT to be refunded with deductions of 3 cents in the dollar for win, 5 cents in the dollar for place on face value of win and place tickets applicable.

BUGS slow away. CONCERT jumped in at the start, minor contact with BUGS.

KITCHIKAN shifted out over the concluding stages of the race.

Jockey M Richards was taken to hospital for precautionary x-rays.

RACE 2: RADIO 4 WK & SPONSERS MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000M

M Richards was replaced by N Spencer on DINAH MOE HUMM.

REGAL JAZZ and TONAGLEAM where slow away. KINGSTON CHIEF jumped out to have minor contact with REGAL JAZZ.

KINGSTON CHIEF Shifted out over the concluding stages of the race.

Time off: 2:25pm

RACE 3: MERRY XMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR H'CAP – 1200M

M Richards was replaced by S Apthorpe on TONDA RAAMI.

NASA ROYALE was inclined to over race in the early stages and then was inclined to hang out on the home turn and over the concluding stages of the race making contact with COUP DE GRACE.

Time off: 3:05pm

RACE 4: NORCO PAULS MILK CLASS 1 H'CAP – 1200M

M Richards replaced by S Apthorpe on GO WIND.

GOLD MINER’S DREAM and PERCY were slow away and raced wide for the entire race.

Time off: 3:40pm

RACE 5: MACINTYRE MECHANICAL SERVICE CLASS 4 H'CAP – 1200M

ECKERSLEY AVENUE was slow away.

CHARWAY was inclined to hang out at the 900m turn.

Time off: 4:15pm

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
