GENERAL:
Mrs. K Hill advised Stewards at 9.45am that app D. Van Bekkum would be unable to ride at today’s meeting due to an injury to her right should sustained in a track incident. Mrs. Hill was advised a Medical Certificate to clear app Van Bekkum of all injuries would have to be given to Stewards before riding again. Stewards approved the following changes:
Race 1 Falila Hekaterina J. Bryant
Race 2 Neigh High K. Sawyers
Race 3 Ruling Planet J. Babarovich
Race 4 Country Essence As no other jockey was available, Country Essence was a late scratching at 1.20 pm
Race 5 Toyshana K. Sawyers
RACE 1: MAIDEN HCP – 1150M
ZAMATRICE slipped on the bitumen road surface on entering the saddling enclosure and was inspected by the Club Vet who passed the horse fit to start.
FALILA HEKATERINA threw its head up on jumping away and was inclined to race wide in the early stages of the race.
MEGARA MOA shifted ground at the 1000 metre corner.
RACE 2: CLASS 4 HCP – 1150M
OUR HAVEN was kicked on the N/F by another runner soon after leaving the saddling enclosure and was inspected by the Club Vet who passed the horse fit to start.
OUR HAVEN and MORNING RIPPLE cam together on jumping away.
PAT’S ORPHAN jumped awkwardly.
The winner NEIGH HIGH was swabbed.
RACE 3: CLASS 2 HCP – 1000M
NEMOV dipped on jumping away.
RACE 4: CLASS 1 HCP – 850M
NOBLE JACKPOT jumped outwardly inconveniencing SOMNIUM.
The winner MANOR’S DAUGHTER was swabbed.
RACE 5: OPEN HCP – 850M
SHALARKO broke through prior to the start and was inspected by the Club Vet and passed to start.
COUNT YOUR DREAMS dipped badly on jumping away.
